Logan Ryan Declares for NFL Draft

Rutgers cornerback Logan Ryan has declared for the NFL draft. An incredibly hard worker, Logan has demonstrated the skill needed for the NFL, and has opted to forgo his final year of eligibility in order to enter the draft early. This makes him the fifth player from Rutgers since 2008 to do so.

"Ryan currently ranks first in the conference and tied for eighth nationally in passes defended, averaging 1.50 per game. He also earned ALL-BIG EAST First Team recognition, as well as all-conference honors from ESPN.com and CBSSports.com (scarletknights.com)."

Congratulations Logan! I couldn't be more proud of you. I'm glad to see you following your dreams and I know that you'll go on to do great things. Continue to make the family proud. If you ever need anything, we're all supporting you!

2012 Reflection: Happy New Year !

Wow. That's really the first thing that comes to mind when I think that 2012 is almost over. I say this every time I write a reflection, but I'm so lucky and blessed to have all my readers in my life. None of this would be possible if it weren't for you guys.

I've met some amazing people this year and I'm so grateful for that. I was also fortunate enough to interview a wide variety of notable persons. Shout out to everyone who agreed to an interview this year. I truly appreciate it and I wish you all the best.

I feel like I really discovered who my real friends were in 2012. My best friend and I sorted things out this year and I'm so happy for that. Here's some advice from me to each and every one of you; never let your pride keep you from apologizing to someone who deserves it. Sometimes you have to admit your wrong so you don't lose people that mean a lot to you.

Of course, graduation was also a huge milestone this year. Shout out to the class of 2012. I'll be the first to admit that a lot of us have drifted but I know that we are still a strange, dysfunctional family. Thank you for everyone from my class that has supported me. It means the world to me.

Overall this year has been amazing. I know this is a vague post but there' just so many blessings in 2012 that I can't really write it all down. Shout out to my friends, family, and readers who are always there for me. Of course, a special shout out to Dylan. You're the brother I've always wanted. I know we annoy each other nonstop sometimes but thank you for everything. I couldn't ask for a better friend. I can honestly say that I'm becoming a mature young adult. Graduating high school really put things in perspective for me. I'm not a little kid anymore. This is the real world and I'm ready to make a name for myself. 2013 better be ready because Dylan and I are taking over!

Stay tuned for our video blog coming later this week. They'll be a special announcement from me in there that you won't want to miss. This has been an awesome year. Thank you for everything. Stay safe tomorrow. I'll talk to you in 2013.

Merry Christmas !

I haven't been blogging much recently as I've been getting ready for Christmas, but I wanted to take the time out of my day to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! You guys are seriously the best and I am so grateful to have you as my readers. Have a safe day tomorrow with your families. Dylan and I will be back after Christmas. We have a lot of stuff to share with you all in the coming days. I hope you're ready!

Anyway, Merry Christmas! Enjoy my friend Courtney Zahn's cover of O Holy Night! It's amazing and I'm sure that you all are going to love it. Subscribe to her and watch her other videos. She's incredible!

Alicia Keys - Brand New Me Music Video

I don't know why I just discovered this song/music video but I love it! Alicia Keys released the video for Brand New Me on Tuesday, and although I just came across it, I felt the need to share it with you guys. I love the song, the melody, the lyrics, everything about it. Alicia Keys will always be one of my favorite singers of all time! I hope you enjoy.

Dylan Bernard - "You Found Me" by The Fray

Unfortunately, YouTube took down Dylan's cover of "You Found Me" by The Fray for reasons beyond our control. The video had over 11,000 views, and although starting over is hard, we will not give up. Please watch and share this video with all of your friends so we can get it back to where it deserves to be. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support.

Cassadee Pope Wins The Voice

Singer Cassadee Pope was just announced as the winner of The Voice! This gives Blake Shelton the win for two years in row now. I can't say that I'm overly thrilled that she won, but then again, I didn't like the other options either. I believe she deserved the title out of the remaining contestants, but I would've much rather seen the final three to be; Melanie Martinez, Amanda Brown, and Trevin Hunt. If any one of them won I would've been so happy.

Regardless, congratulations to Cassadee Pope. I'm looking forward to seeing what your next move will be. Are you happy with tonight's results? Let me know below!

Pray For Newtown

This story is sickening to me, and I don't want really want to get into too much detail. This is a very traumatic experience for everyone involved, and sometimes too much media attention can make things harder. I just want to say that the families and children that were victim to the elementary school shootings in Newtown, Connecticut are in my prayers today, and I urge to to keep them in your prayers as well. It baffles me that someone, regardless of their mental stability, would be able to walk into an elementary school and open fire on innocent children. Too many lives were lost today. I cannot even fathom what these families are going through, but to anyone involved  please know that the rest of us are praying for you. You are not alone. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Skylar Grey & Eminem Release "C'mon Let Me Ride" Music Video

Skylar Grey and Eminem are back at it again! This time the two collaborated on a song off Skylar's upcoming album Don't Look Down, titled C'mon Let Me Ride. The song is definitely humorous and sarcastic and the video definitely depicts that perfectly. I actually love what they did with the music video and the song is pretty catchy as well. Let me know what you think!

Jessica Jarrell - This Christmas

Friend to JaySwag.com, Jessica Jarrell, joins the countless other artists who have covered This Christmas, as she sings the Christmas classic in her latest YouTube video. The very first time I heard her sing I knew that she would be a star! Her voice is amazing and I love her vibrato. She definitely doesn't disappoint with this cover either. I hope you all enjoy the cover just as much as I did. It really gets me in the Christmas mood!

Be sure to check out my interview with Jessica Jarrell by clicking HERE

Carly Rose Sonenclar Goes Bieber

This girl is so amazing! Every time she performs I always forget that she is only 13-years-old. Last night the little diva belted out an "unplugged" version of Justin Bieber's As Long As You Love Me, and boy oh boy did she sing! After this performance I think it's very obvious that Carly Rose has what it takes to win this whole competition. The amount of control that she possesses is ridiculous. I've never heard anyone so young have so much control and such a mature tone.

For her second performance, she sang If I Were A Boy by Beyonce. She did that song justice too! Carly, in my opinion, has been the strongest contestant throughout the whole competition. She has never had an "off" week and her ability to stay consistently good definitely shows. What did you guys think of Carly's two performances? Will she be the winner of The X Factor?

"The Voice" Reveals The Final Four

It's the time again! It's time for NBC's The Voice to have it's final episodes. Tonight, the final four contestants were revealed and, I must say, I'm a little disappointed

The final four are....
Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope, both from Team Blake, and Trevin Hunte and Nichoals David, both from Team Cee Lo.

That means Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown got the boot tonight, ridding Adam of his final two contestants. Adam now joins Christina who also has no contestants left for the finals. While I believe Trevin and Cassadee deserve to be there, I would've loved to see Melanie or Amanda in the finals as well. I loved both of their voices. Melanie was so unique and whenever she sang you knew it was her. Amanda has an incredible range, and although she was pitchy at times, she still proved that she was one of the strongest singers in the competition.

Anyway, that's pretty much the recap! Who are you rooting for in the finale?

YouTube Artist of the Month: Camille Peruto

It's been a little while since I posted a YouTube Artist of the Month, so first let me apologize for that! I've been so busy and tied up working on my website and with Dylan that I haven't had time to discover new talent. That being said, I am back with a new artist that I believe you will love!
A few weeks ago Dylan and I went to support a friend of ours (you'll be seeing her on Jay Swag next month) at an open mic night near us, and while we were there we had the pleasure of hearing Camille Peruto perform her original song, Sparrow. I spoke with Camille after the show. We traded information and have been in contact ever since. She possesses such a unique voice, and I believe we will be hearing a lot more about her in the near future. Be sure to subscribe to her YouTube Channel and like her Facebook Page www.facebook.com/camilleperutomusic.

The Voice Says Goodbye to Dez Duron

Although I didn't watch The Voice last night, I went right to my Twitter feed this morning to see find out who was eliminated  To my surprise, I discovered that Dez Duron has been sent home! Based on comments/tweets I've been receiving Dez was one of the front runners. Most of my readers seemed to love him, and on Twitter, teenage girls would declare their love for him over and over again during his performances. I guess this proves that having the teenage girl vote isn't always enough.

I don't think this is the last we'll be hearing from Dez. I would love to interview him and I'm going to try to make that happen for you guys! Oh yeah...Cody Belew also got eliminated but I don't think he should've been there anyway. With Team Christina completely out of the competition, which judge do you think will win this season of The Voice?
-Jay P-

Jay Swag TV - Chubby Bunny!

We promised you guys another Jay Swag TV episode and here it is! Dylan and I took on the Chubby Bunny challenge and well...this is the result. Haha it was so much fun to do. Hope you guys like it. Make sure you watch it in 1080p! The quality is so much better. Oh wait! Okay, so Dylan and I are thinking about literally recording everything, and making our own sort of reality series on YouTube. Would you guys be interested in seeing all of our adventures? Let us know so we can start bringing the camera around with us. Thanks!

Dylan Bernard Covers "I Won't Give Up"

Hey everyone! It's been a while but Dylan and I are back to work. Our schedules got a little crazy but we are back to our weekly videos. We want to thank you so much for your support and we look forward to seeing what's next for the both of us! Anyway, here is Dylan's latest cover of I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz. I hope you guys like it! Follow Dylan on Twitter and Instagram @DTBMuzic

Ariana Grande Sings "All I Want For Christmas Is You"

Ariana Grande leaves me speechless after each and every one of her performances! The above video is her singing All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey and once again, Ariana does an amazing job. I wish more people would see her as the incredible talent she is, as opposed to just a Nickelodeon star. If you watch all of her videos you will find that she is one of the most talented singers out there at the moment! She is also one of my dream interviews. Maybe one day we can make that happen, but for now I'll definitely keep supporting her. Anyway, enjoy the video!

Big Chocolate Interview

I recently got the chance to interview Seattle based music producer, Big Chocolate. He recently released his album Red Headed Locc and is now preparing to release The Red EP on December, 4th. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peak of the EP and if you like Electronic Dance Music you do not want to miss this! Every song was so good and I'm almost positive they will become some of your favorites. Your hard work paid off! You have a great EP on your hands here. Check out my interview with the man behind the music below.

Thank you for speaking with Jay Swag Entertainment News! First, can you please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself?
“OF COURSE!. My mom named me Cameron. I grew up in the reno/tahoe area. I now live in seattle where I live out my days drowning myself in coffee. I turned 22 last August.”

What made you want to get into the electronic dance music genre? What sets you apart from other artists like yourself?
“The electronic platform is just a more accepting and bigger way of making music. I can combine anything I want into a song. I'm able to have a live guitar riffin' away, chop up some cool vocal samples, and make it all knock with a solid sub bass hitting you in the stomach. Using a computer to create music is hands down the best way to create whatever you would want to hear. I guess I think what sets me apart is, I rarely put similar tracks out. All of my releases will be very different from each other.”

Where did you come up with the name "Big Chocolate?"
“It was initially a joke to not be taken serious… Then stuff got serious and I'm stuck with it. haha! I think it suits as long as people know what I'm about… Although i've had some pretty interesting situations happen because of the super misleading name.”

Tell us a little bit about your experience performing at the Warped Tour? Is it something you would be interested in doing again?
“WT was my very first full tour experience. Craziness everyday. Totally taught me how to be a performer and helped develop me as an artist drastically. Yeah, I'd do again for sure.”

I've listened to The Red EP and I was very impressed. I liked every song on there! What's your favorite song on the EP? Which one means the most to you?
“Thanks! I experimented a lot on my last album, and this EP has a lot of "run off" ideas I was having towards the end of making that album. The EP is defiantly more based (than the album) in the sense that it is a lot easier to grasp. I like Karp Fish just because I think it's one of the more stand out -ish tracks. Smotha is pretty groovy too.”

If you could work with any artist out there who would you pick and why?
“Sting, I think we would vibe well and create some cool out of the box music.”

What's that one song that you can't get out of your head at the moment?
“imogen heap - canvas. Beautiful song.”

Are you working on any projects that you can tell us about? What's next for Big Chocolate?
“Aside from the RED EP, I've just started working on some sort of future release. Have about 3 half tracks done for it. Super different type of stuff. I'd say it sounds like liquid dnb meets hip hop meets like… 2000's style electronica/indie stuff. Sounds odd, but will make sense when I start release some of it. That and a bunch of shows coming up @ bigchocolate.us

What's an interesting fact about you that many people may not know?
 “Super picky eater.

That was the last question! I want to thank you for taking the time to speak with me. Do you have any last thoughts or comments for your fans?
“As always my fans are my fam.”

Nicki Minaj - Freedom Music Video

I love this ! Nicki Minaj is back with a brand new video for her hit single Freedom! I love this song and I just fell in love with the music video too. Unlike her most recent songs, this actually has a meaning to it and I cannot stop listening to it. Great job Nicki!

Teen Sensation Austin Mahone Joins Taylor Swift on "Red" Tour

YouTube singing sensation turned international pop star, Austin Mahone, will be accompanying Taylor Swift on her highly anticipated "Red" Tour! Austin Mahone will be joining Taylor for six dates throughout the tour, which begins on May 4th.

Austin Mahone is arguably the biggest star to come forth from YouTube in the past year or two. His fan base, the "Mahomies," consists of close to 500,000 YouTube subscribers, 1.4 million Facebook fans, and a growing 1.2 million Twitter followers. His YouTube views are well over 90 million and all these numbers grow immensely by the day. At only 16 years old, Austin Mahone is certainly someone to watch out for.  Follow Austin on Twitter @AustinMahone, and be sure to purchase his latest single Say Somethin' on iTunes.

Nicki Minaj Fragrance Commercial !

Check out the official commercial for Nicki Minaj's fragrance Pink Friday! Nicki tweeted that she just released the commercial for everyone to see on the YouTube home page. I actually think the commercial is really creative and Nicki looks beautiful in it...but doesn't she always? The commercial features her hit single Freedom and the fragrance can be picked up at Macy's!

Carly Rose Sonenclar Will Win The X Factor

This girl is going to win The X Factor. There is no way she can lose! Her voice is so mature for her age. It's hard to believe that she is only thirteen-years old. Watch the singing sensation belt out Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On

When I heard she was singing this song I was a little disappointed. First, I think the song is super boring...second, I didn't think she could pull it off. Well, I'm so glad to admit that I was wrong! I loved the performance and she sang it extremely well. I definitely feel as though she has what it takes to win this competition.

The Elimination:

This week the producers decided to throw a curve ball and make it a "double elimination" to compensate for bringing Diamond White back into the competition. Unfortunately we are saying goodbye to Jennel Garcia and Lyric 145. I can't say that I am surprised that Lyric 145 were eliminated (although I really did like most of their performances), but I am a little shocked to see Jennel go home so early in the competition. Jennel had a great voice and while I stated on Twitter that I didn't like her song choice, I really believe she should've stayed over a few of the other contestants. Either way, I'm sure this isn't going to be the last time we see either of these acts! Who knows? Maybe I'll even interview them!
-Jay P-

Kelly Rowland - ICE ft Lil Wayne Music Video

Kelly Rowland has finally released the official music video to ICE which featured rapper Lil Wayne. I think the video has a cool feel to it at some parts, but overall I'm not super impressed. I definitely think Motivation is going to be hard to top but all in all not a terrible video. I give it a low B or high C. What do you think of the new video?
-Jay P-

Trevin Hunte Belts Out "When a Man Loves a Woman"

Trevin Hunte is seriously a force to be reckoned with. I'm not sure if he's 18 or 19 but he really sings like someone who has many more years of experience than that. Last night he performed When a Man Loves a Woman, and I feel as thought it was the best performance of the night. He's learning to control his voice better, and it's not all about the high notes. His lower register is actually very good also. The runs in his voice are incredible and I think he can go very far!

I also liked Amanda Brown's performance. The only problem is...I didn't like it last night. Basically, I woke up this morning and listened to all the performances again and after I listened to her performance I was compelled to replay it a couple of times. I even compared it to Florence's version. After all this it definitely grew on me, and has become one of my favorites of the night. This may be a problem for Amanda because from the look of my tweets, many of you didn't like her performance last night and I highly doubt you listened to it multiple times until it clicked for you. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the votes panned out tonight on The Voice!

Rihanna Performs New Single On SNL

Pop princess Rihanna just released her Diamonds video, but she's not done making headlines! The singer recently sang her new single titled Stay live on SNL. The ballad steers away from her more recent pop/dance music but I predict it will do just as well! I love this song and it definitely shows some vocal maturity from Rihanna. If you like the song, it will be featured on her seventh studio album Unapologetic. Personally, I think Rih is going to have a big hit with this album. What do you guys think?
-Jay P-

Rihanna Releases Music Video - Diamonds

It's finally here! Rihanna and her team have finally released the official music video for the singers hit single Diamonds! I must admit, at first I wasn't a big fan of the song but now it has grown to be one of my favorites. I love the video too! Rih has been doing such a great job lately with everything she puts out and this is no exception. What do you think of the Diamonds video?
-Jay P-

Two Terms for President Barack Obama

I've remained neutral throughout the whole Presidential Election, and I will continue to do so. I do, however, want to share Barack's victory speech. Regardless of what you think about him, he is a great public speaker. I thought the speech was delivered very well. Congratulations to Barack Obama on winning the 2012 elections.
-Jay P-

Amanda Brown Rocks Out With "Dream On"

Is there anything this girl can't sing? We've seen her slay Valerie by Amy Winehouse, Vision of Love by Mariah Carey, Paris (Ooh la la) by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, and now Dream On by Aerosmith! Last night she stunned the crowd with her amazing performance, and she completely stole the show. I was pulling for Loren Allred but the performance above is just incredible. It can literally leave you speechless. The other contestants should be getting worried. It's time for them to step their game up, because if they don't they can all just start thinking about going home!
-Jay P-

New Music: Nicki Minaj - Freedom

I was watching Nicki Minaj's My Truth on E! last night and they showed footage of her working on a song titled Freedom, off her soon to be released album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up

The song sounded really good and I wanted to listen to the whole thing. Luckily for me I woke up this morning and what did I find? Check out Freedom and let me know what you think! I think Nicki has a hit with this song. The chorus is catchy, but it's the verses that I really love.
-Jay P-

New Music: Christina Aguilera - Blank Page

I love this! Check out Blank Page off Christina Aguilera's upcoming album Lotus. Christina's vocals are amazing on this track. I love when she sings ballads because it really shows off her voice.

I'm not positive but I believe Sia wrote the song. Either way, great job Christina! Keep it up! I'm looking forward to hearing more music from your next album. What do you guys think of Blank Page? Is this her next big ballad?
-Jay P-

Emblem3 Steals The Show

X Factor has really been disappointing me this season. The talent this year is nowhere near as good as last year's lineup. Last night I was, yet again, disappointed with the performances. First, the show seems to be overly produced this time around. It feels like everyone is reading a script, and the performances are ridiculous and over the top. No one is showing off their full vocal potential and that bores me to no end. That being said, there was one stand out performance...
As much as I hate to admit it, Emblem3 surprised me last night. I thoroughly enjoyed their performance and I can already see them becoming huge pop stars. I haven't liked Emblem3 at all this season, mainly due to their cocky personalities, but last night they performed really well and they are deserving of all the praise they have received.

Be sure to watch tonight to see who will make it to the next round. I'm still hoping my favorite, Carly Rose Sonenclar wins the competition! I guess we'll have to see what happens.
-Jay P-

Who Is Loren Allred ?

For those of you who saw this performance last night you probably asked yourself "who is Loren Allred?" We are weeks into the season, yet Loren has received little to no TV time, which is why many people did not realize she was even in the competition.

Loren is a very talented vocalist who I followed on YouTube a very long time ago! My friend and I discovered her videos about four years ago and we were immediately fans. She was signed to Ne-Yo's label, but I'm not sure if she still is.  Above is her performance from last night and after watching it, I believe she can win this whole competition! Let me know what you think.
-Jay P-

Current Obsession: Supernatural

Okay guys...so if you follow me on Twitter then you already know how bad this obsession is getting. It's now at the point where I feel the need to blog about it!

My new favorite show is SupernaturalI! I watch this show on weekdays on TNT from 9-11am, and on Wednesday nights at 9pm on The CW. I'm even running on about 2-4 hours of sleep because there was a 24 hours marathon of the show and I didn't want to miss it!

I highly recommend checking it out if you are into paranormal/action shows. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, who play Sam and Dean Winchester, are the perfect people for the show and they really make the show what it is. It has now become my goal to interview them...and I promise you...it will happen. Anyway, be sure to watch Supernatural on TNT weekday mornings. New episodes air every Wednesday on The CW at 9pm.

Demi Lovato Sings National Anthem At The World Series

Demi Lovato sang the National Anthem at The World Series tonight. I think she did a pretty good job with the song. I really like her voice and although this wasn't her best performance it's still worth watching. Check it out above and be sure to let me know what you think!
-Jay P-

Nicki Minaj - Va Va Voom Music Video

Nicki Minaj has released the music video for her single "Va Va Voom." The video is not as outrageous as some of previous works, but I still enjoyed it. The simplicity made it different from her other music videos, and she looked flawless throughout.

"Va Va Voom" isn't my favorite song of Nicki's but if you like the song I'm sure you will be pleased with the video. My favorite look of the video is the last part where she is wearing the black wig. Are you a fan Nicki's latest video? Let me know below!

Bruno Mars Releases "Unorthodox Jukebox" Cover

One of my favorite male vocalists, Bruno Mars, has released the cover to his next album! His next studio album will be titled Unorthodox Jukebox and the cover can be seen above.

He tweeted the image yesterday to his 12 million followers. I'm very excited for this album and I will definitely be giving it a listen once it comes out. His voice is incredible and I like almost every one of his songs. The track list for his album is as follows:

1. Young Girls
2. Locked Out Of Heaven
3. Gorilla
4. Treasure
5. Moonshine
6. When I Was Your Man
7. Natalie
8. Show Me
9. Money Make Her Smile
10. If I Knew

Looks like it's going to be a good one! Are you excited for Bruno's next album?

Alicia Keys "Girl On Fire" Music Video

Apparently this came out on my birthday (October 19th), but I was so busy that I missed it! If you haven't seen the video to Alicia Keys' Girl On Fire I highly recommend watching it. This is definitely one of my favorite songs out there right now. I love Alicia's voice on the song, and I think she did a great job with the video. Let me know what you think!

Happy Birthday Jay Swag

I usually don't write posts like this, and I'm also a little late with this one, but anyway I wanted to write about Jay Swag turning 4 years old, and me turning 19!

I cannot believe that it's been four years since I first began this blog. I never thought that it would become what it has and I cannot thank you guys enough for all of your support. Thanks to my readers I've been able to interview tons of celebrities, recording artists, YouTube stars, and other notable personalities. I've been featured on different websites and even in a book! Honestly, if you told me four years ago that I would accomplish all of this by the time I turned 19, I probably would've laughed. When I sit down and think about everything, it's all still very surreal to me.

Things are just getting started. This year is going to be my biggest, most important year yet. I have so many opportunities lined up, not only for myself, but for Dylan also. I hope that you all stick around for this journey that we are about to embark on because things are about to get very interesting!

Enjoy the above pictures taken over the course of the past few years. It's so funny how much things have changed! Happy Birthday to Jay Swag Entertainment News and myself(even though the correct date is October 19th)!.
-Jay P-

Melanie Amaro "Fails Me Now"

I really don't want to write this post because I loved Melanie Amaro on X Factor but I can't lie to you guys either. What in the world is this!? Melanie Amaro released the music video for her song "Don't Fail Me Now," and it reminded me of how much I disliked the song.

First, the song is catchy, don't get me wrong, but Melanie Amaro is so much better than this! There's too much auto-tune in this song and the video just makes it even worse. I know that she can't always sing ballads, but there's a way to sing upbeat songs and still show that you are more than an auto-tune pop singer. Sorry Melanie but this just doesn't cut it for me! I know you are way better than this. I'm expecting a little more from you. I hope you can impress us with your next song/video.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner To Launch Fashion Line

It was only a matter of time before these two started their on business! Kendall and Kylie Jenner have made a name for themselves thanks to appearing on their family's reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians and it's countless spin-offs, but now the two youngest sisters are starting their on business!

The two starlets will be launching a teen fashion line produced by Canada's Majestic Mills. The brand, which has yet to be named, will start off with t-shirts, pants, and accessories, and I'm sure it will just grow from there! The two released the following statement:

"We love fashion. Our mom and big sisters have always been an inspiration so when we got the chance to design our own line with Majestic Mills we were thrilled! It will be a mix of casual chic style that we wear everyday, and now so can our fans. We always get asked what we are wearing so now everyone can see our creations in stores!"

Congratulations to Kendall and Kylie. I'm sure you're brand will be a huge success!

Dylan Bernard Covers "The A Team" by Ed Sheeran

Hey everyone! Dylan just posted a new cover to his channel. Check out his short, a capella cover of Ed Sheeran's popular hit, The A Team. I love the song and the cover came out great! I hope you guys enjoy. Be sure to share it with your friends and family, and to follow Dylan on Twitter @DTBmuzic. Thanks guys!

Justin Bieber Pranks Fans: Released Beauty And A Beat Music Video

Here it is guys! Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj released the music video for Beauty And A Beat. The video is great, the song is great, and the prank was even greater!

All of you beliebers know that Justin claimed his laptop was stolen and the person who stole it was threatening to leak footage of Bieber that would "ruin" his career today. I, along with the rest of the media world, pretty much caught onto this as a PR stunt and had fun playing along. I'm sure most of you realized this as well, especially when Nicki Minaj tweeted for all her barbz to be ready for a big announcement. Anyway, great job to Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj on the video, and the viral marketing tactic. It was very genius to be honest, and whoever came up with it is amazing at what they do! I hope you enjoy the video.

Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up

Rap superstar Nicki Minaj recently announced that her next album will be released on November 19th. The album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-UP, which is really a repackaging of her sophomore album, will feature a few new songs that Nicki thinks her fans will love.

She just tweeted the cover art for the album (see above). Okay...I'm a huge Nicki fan but I absolutely hated her sophomore album. There's no need to release it twice. I would prefer for her to go back to the studio and create a completely brand new album that is just as good as her first. I don't know everyone, I just don't know this is going to sell very well. I could be wrong! Her new single is scheduled for release sometime next week. What do you think?

Kelly Clarkson - Catch My Breath

Kelly Clarkson is back with a new single titled Catch My Breath. The song is off her upcoming compilation album "Greatest Hits - Chapter 1."

Personally, I love the song. Her voice sounds great and I love the message. Kelly Clarkson is definitely one of the most underrated vocalists in the industry right now. I mean, she's very successful, but everyone praises her songs, no one really praises her voice. Vocally speaking, she's an incredible singer and this song definitely shows that!

The Voice - Trevin Hunte vs. Amanda Brown

This may just be the most amazing vocal battle I've ever seen! The battle rounds began last night on The Voice, and the singers came out fighting. Most of the battles were actually really entertaining, but the last one was really something special. Trevin Hunte and Amanda Brown, two of my favorites so far, were put against each other and given Mariah Carey's Vision of Love to sing. What happened after that was Voice history. The two singers belted out an incredible rendition of the song. Cee Lo picked Trevin, but Amanda was "stolen" by Adam. I would've personally picked Amanda as the winner but they were both amazing. One of them will win this entire competition.

Justin Bieber Performs At BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards 2012

Justin Bieber recently performed at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards 2012! He sang an acoustic version of his hit single As Long As You Love Me and was accompanied by his guitarist Dan Kanter. Let me know what you think of the performance. I thought it was cool to see a more laid back version of the song, as opposed to him dancing around. It enabled him to have more control over his voice as well!

Dylan Bernard Covers "You Found Me" by The Fray

Hey guys! Dylan recently covered The Fray's You Found Me. This is by far my favorite cover of his. I remember working with Dylan years ago, and now, watching his growth as an artist, I couldn't be more proud of him. It's so inspiring to see how far he's come and I can't wait to see what's next! Please comment/rate/subscribe and follow him on Twitter @DTBMuzic.

Adele - Skyfall (Full)

The full version of Skyfall has finally been released and I am obsessed with it! Like I said in my last post I love Adele and she's one of my favorite singers of all time. Her voice is perfect and this song continues to prove that. I hope you enjoy the new song, which is the official theme of the new James Bond film of the same name.

X Factor Boot Camp Battles

X Factor has started doing "battle rounds" similar to The Voice in which two artists compete with each other by singing the same song, and attempt to out sing the other. My favorite battle so far was definitely Carly Rose Sonenclar vs Beatrice Miller. It's hard to believe that these girls are just 13-years-old. They both sing with experience that is way beyond their age. I do believe Carly Rose won the battle, but I was very impressed with Beatrice's tone.

The most dramatic battle of the night was certainly between Paige Thomas and CeCe Frey. These two have been heavy competitors and rivals since the season started and the producers knew what they were doing by pitting them against each other. It created a very dramatic scenario and I know fans of the show loved seeing them battle. Unfortunately, I thought their battle was very anti-climactic. Neither of them impressed me vocally. They are both talented singers and I've seen them do so much but better but to be honest I would send them both home after last night's performance. What did you guys think?

Jay Swag TV EP 7

We're back! I hope you like our latest video blog. We answered a bunch of your questions. Make sure you watch till the very end for the bloopers! Also, we received a comment that said the following;

"You guys inspire me so much. This isn't a question but thank you for being amazing and so open with everyone. It can't be easy to pretty much live your lives on a blog for everyone to see and judge. You guys are so brave for talking about your falling out and letting us into such a personal thing. You are so successful and I want to wish you both the best of luck and also thank you again for inspiring me."

We responded to that comment, but for some reason my memory card did not save the whole video.
Basically, we are so grateful for your comment. You do not know how much that means to the both of us. We seriously do this because of people like you. The fact that we can inspire you, inspires both of us to continue working our hardest. Of course, at times it is not easy to live our lives for everyone to see, but knowing that it's helping at least one person makes it all worth it. It's not you who should be thanking us, but it's us who should be thanking you. You guys make all of the hard work worth it.

Skyfall - Adele

I am SO happy to write this post and share this with you guys. Grammy winning singer Adele will be lending her perfect voice to the new James Bond film Skyfall. The song of the same name was co-written by Adele and Paul Epworth, and was recorded in London's Abbey Road Studios.

Adele is one of my top 5 favorite singers of all time and the fact that I don't have to wait for her next album to hear new material is probably the best news I've heard in a while! Well...maybe that's a little dramatic but still, take a listen to Skyfall and hear just exactly what I'm talking about. Now I need her to release another album asap!

-Jay P-

Your Body - Christina Aguilera

I just got the chance to check out Christina Aguilera's new video for Your Body. This track is the lead single off her upcoming album Lotus. The video features Aguilera as a man-killer who kills the men she seduces. Critics and fans love the video so far and many are saying it's one of her best videos. Overall, I think it's a catchy song and fun video. Aguilera's vocals are on point, but when aren't they? What do you guys think of Christina's lead single?

Ellen Scares Selena...Twice!

I love when Ellen scares her guests on her show and yesterday was just perfect! Check out Selena Gomez getting scared not once, but twice. You would think after the first one she would be a little more prepared but that is certainly not the case!
-Jay P-

*Update* In order to see the second scare video you have to go to Ellen's official YouTube page.

Dinah Jane - X Factor Favorite

Hey everyone! If you watched The X Factor last night then you saw Dinah Jane Hansen perform If I Were A Boy by Beyonce. I wanted to share her performance with you guys because it was that good.

Thus far, Dinah is my favorite singer in the competition. She has the look, personality and she certainly possesses the talent. Her tone is impeccable, and I believe she has a lot more to show. I feel like we haven't even scratched the surface with her voice. I'm very excited to watch her grow through the competition. Who are your favorites so far?

Lexxi Saal Interview

Hey everyone! As you know, I recently had the chance to hang out and interview Lexxi Saal! Check out our interview below. A big shout out to Lexxi's parents for making it happen, and also a shout out to her sister Brittany Saal, and their friend Katrina for coming up to meet us too! We had a great time.

Rihanna - Diamonds

Rihanna released the first single, Diamonds, off her seventh studio album (not yet titled). I'm a fan of the song! Honestly, I'm a big Rihanna fan and everything she does is so good to me. Diamonds is no exception! The song is set to a slower tempo than most of her music, but I love the track and I cannot wait for her next album. I think Rihanna has another hit on her hands! Are you fan?

The Voice Takes The Top Spot

Last night The Voice aired one of it's best episodes of all time! There was an incredible slew of talent on the show and I finally think that we will be in for a good season. Above is one of my favorite performances of the night, Michelle Brooks-Thompson's performance of Proud Mary. Give it a listen and let me know what you think!

In addition to her performance, I also loved Jordan Pruitt's performance of The One That Got Away by Katy Perry. The former Disney star came to The Voice for a second chance and she received the chance when Christina Aguilera turned her chair! I love Jordan's tone and when she goes into her head voice it's absolutely perfect. She's one to watch this season.

I was also a huge fan of Terisa Griffin's performance of Someone Like You by Adele. Although she started out  rocky once the chorus kicked in she was on point! With some coaching she can also be one of the top contenders for the title.

Last but not least, Dez Duron, who auditioned last season, returned to The Voice stage to sing Sara Smile. I'm glad to see him come back because I thought he deserved a chance last season. This time he was able to get Christina, Blake, and Cee Lo to turn their chairs! In the end he went with Christina. I'm very interested in seeing what she can do with him, and I want to see just how far he can go.

Well that's it for last night! This season of The Voice is looking to be a really good one so far. It's definitely winning over the X Factor in my opinion at least.

Kwesi Boakye Interview

I recently had the chance to interview actor Kwesi Boakye! You may know him from Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself, or from the just released motion picture, Unconditional! Check out our interview below!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. First, can you please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself?
"My name is Kwesi Boakye and you may know me from some of the projects I've done in the past like Tyler Perry's "I Can Do Bad All Myself" and some guest star roles on "Hawaii Five-O", "The Mentalist" etc... I'm really a fun loving kid who enjoys acting, reading, basketball, soccer and my playstation!"

You're so young but you already have so much experience in acting! When did you first get into acting and what made you want to do so?
"Funny story because I had no idea I was getting into acting, lol! I was 10 months old, minding my business in my stroller and my mom was shopping in the mall with me and my brothers and an agent approached her. My mom followed up and the rest is history!"

What was it like working in Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself? How did you like working alongside Tariji P Henson, Tyler Perry, and the rest of the star-studded cast?
"It was great working on Tyler Perry's set. He is actually a giant kid at heart! He loves to fly model planes so we would play on his computer and assimilate flying sometimes. Taraji would pinch me and my co-star Freddy's cheek every morning, so we would hide from her lol.. Adam was like a big bro, it was just like a giant family. When Madea showed up on set I couldn't stop laughing. It was not good for my scenes. Mr. Perry is an improv King and he taught me a lot!"

Your starring in the film Unconditional which will release on September 21st. Tell us a little bit about your role in the movie, and the filming process.
"My role in "Unconditional" is Macon. My character is very much has a little chip on his shoulder in the beginning. He hustles everyone to get what he needs because it's all he knows. Papa Joe (Michael Ealy's character) holds him accountable for his behavior like a parent, which creates a bond between them. Macon looks up to Papa Joe as the father he never had.
The filming process was smooth. I got to do a southern country accent and maintain it throughout, which was a good challenge for me. Hopefully I pulled it off!"

If you could work with any actor or actress in the world who would it be and why?
"Definitely Denzel Washington because he's amazing and consistently great in every movie he does. My dream is to earn some Academy Awards like him.
For an actress I will love to do an action film with Zoe Saldana like in "Colombiana"...that would be sweet!"

You also made an appearance at a "Back To School Bash" which helped raise money for families in need? Are you interested in doing more charity work? What charities would you like to work with in the future?
"The smiles on the kids faces made my heart feel good. I really want to do some charity work with the Boys and Girls Club, YMCAs and in Ghana West-Africa, my brothers and I are ambassadors for the leukemia project. I can't wait to go back to Africa and help raise money for the hospital they are building. One of my dreams is to be a UN Ambassador to represent kids all over the world, helping kids. My parents always talk me how God blesses us to be a blessing to others too."

What is your dream role?
"An action hero movie like "Spiderman" mixed with "Iron Man" and the suspense of "Mission Impossible" with Denzel Washington, Zoe Saldana and Tom Cruise."

If you weren't acting what would you want to do as a career?
"I don't know because I am only focused on wanting to do a lot more acting. I really love acting. It's like a part of me and I can't imagine not doing it. It's like I was born to do this. My parents always taught us not to believe in plan B, or else we will give plan A permission to fail."

What's an interesting fact about you that many people may not know?
"Oh wow, you really want me to tell my secrets! Okay here goes, lol. I'm a PlayStation fanatic! I'm a fierce competitor on the basketball court and I'm the voice of Darwin Waterson in "The Amazing World of Gumball" lol"

Thanks again for doing the interview! Do you have any last thoughts or comments?
"Last thoughts would be please go see "Unconditional." It's a movie I'm really proud to be a part of and check me out as the voice of  Darwin Waterson in "The Amazing World of Gumball" on Cartoon Network on Tuesdays 7.30pm Thank you!"

X Factor Stand Out - Jessica Espinoza

I'm not sure if you guys are following The X Factor, but if you are then you already saw Jessica Espinoza's emotional performance of Nobody Knows by Pink. She's definitely one of my favorite performers this season. Her voice is nowhere near perfect, but she puts so much emotion into her performance that it really makes you want to keep watching. I hope she goes far.

That being said, I've been watching X Factor since it's season premiered last week and I'm a little disappointed. I've yet to find anyone who matches up to Melanie Amaro, Rachel Crow, or Stacy Francis. It seems like the talent level has dropped a lot this year. Maybe they're just waiting for the next few episodes but I really hope they step up their game. What do you think of this season?

Usher & Shakira Join The Voice

This is interesting to me! Just days after American Idol announced their new pannel of judges, NBC has announced that The Voice will also have a new lineup of judges for season 4! That's right; Usher and Shakira are officially joining the team.

There are only four chairs though! So who will these two be replacing you ask? Well, after this season it has been confirmed that Cee Lo and Christina will not be returning to the show.

What do you think of the change? Are you happy with Usher and Shakira? Do you think that Cee Lo and Christina's departure will harm the show in anyway? Leave a comment with your thoughts!

American Idol Confirms Judges

American Idol has finally confirmed it's new pannel of judges for the upcoming season of the show. Randy Jackson will be joined by superstars Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Nicki Minaj!

I think it's a great lineup and I'm actually looking forward to this season now. I really think that the judges have a lot of talent, and their personalities should definitely make for interesting chemistry. I'm anxious to see how the judges work together and to see if the mesh together as well as the original pannel. Regardless, the fact that Nicki Minaj is a judge is reason enough for me to watch!

What do you think about the new lineup? Are you going to watch?

Preparing For A New Jay Swag TV EP

Hey guys! Dylan and I are doing another video blog this weekend and we want to answer some of your questions! Feel free to leave us some questions, but remember to ask them anonymously (we won't be answering every question this time and this way it's completely random). By the way, did you notice something about Dylan? He got his braces off! Well, we'll talk to you guys soon. Thanks for the support and stay tuned for our next video blog.

YouTube Artist of the Month - Lexxi Saal

This month's YouTube Artist of the Month is a talented 15 year old singer by the name of Lexxi Saal! She was one of the singers who performed at Christian Beadles 2012 Meet and Greet Tour. I love her voice and I knew that I had to feature her. Her latest cover is Alicia Keys' Girl On Fire, with which she does an amazing job! I'm hoping to set up an interview with her soon so I'll keep you all posted and give you more information as soon as I find out. Be sure to subscribe to her and follow her on Twitter @LexxiSaal.

MTV VMA's Fall Short In My Eyes

I hate to say it, but for me at least, this year's VMA's were nothing special. I wasn't happy with the winners of most of the awards, and I thought the line-up was pretty weak. Most of the performances were just mediocre.

The only stand out moment was Alicia Keys performing "Girl On Fire" with Nicki Minaj. I love this song, I love Nicki's verse, and I love how Gabby Douglas was on stage performing too! This was definitely the highlight of the VMA's to me, and to many of my friends.  Also, why did Taylor Swift close the show? They definitely could've gotten a better performer for that.

Not everything was negative though. I really did enjoy Kevin Hart as the host. I feel that he did a great job keeping everyone entertained. His jokes were funny, and his energy could be felt through the TV screen. I loved how he touched on subjects that many people would be scared to even go near. Overall, A+ for Kevin Hart.

Aside from that, everything else was boring. I honestly couldn't even tell you what happened unless I watched it again. Sorry MTV, but you're going to have to do better next year!

Mariah Carey Performs Triumphant

I missed Mariah Carey's performance last night at the NFL Kickoff Show so I had to look it up today...I'm extremely disappointed. She performed a few songs, but the above performance is her new single Triumphant (Get Em). I don't know what she was thinking but this was a huge mess! It doesn't help that I can't stand the song, but she didn't even sound good singing it.  I was hoping for something so much better. I love Mariah and I think she's one of the greatest female vocalists of all times, but this performance was extremely disappointing. Sorry if I offended and Mimi fans!

Goodbye Summer 2012 !

Well it's almost officially the end of my Summer vacation. I can't believe that I'm writing this post already. It seems like only yesterday that I sat on my high school's football field, on a Thursday evening, and received my diploma. Now, I'm sitting here, getting ready to begin college tomorrow. So much has happened for me this Summer and I want to share my experiences with you guys. Throughout this post I'll be discussing a bunch of different things, and sharing pictures from the past few months. I hope you guys enjoy!

(Dylan and I goofing around)

For the most part, as I'm sure most of you already know, I spent my Summer hanging out, and working with Dylan Bernard. Almost all of you already know who Dylan is, but for my newer readers, Dylan is my best friend, and the first artist that I signed to manage. Here's a little bit of our back story. Dylan and I became friends thanks to one of our mutual friends, who thought it would be a good idea for us to get to know each other. We became pretty close right away. Unfortunately, we did have a falling out. Most of you know this already, some of you have even used this against us. In all honesty, I probably shouldn't have told you about the falling out a few years ago, but when I did, I never thought it would come as far as it did. This is the final time I will address this (yes, I've said that before, but this time I'm being serious). I want to apologize for publicizing our fight. That being said, whether you want to believe it or not, we are still best friends. This Summer we've both grown and matured into better versions of our selves. Our work ethics have improved so much, and we are now on the right path. We want to thank you guys so much for your support, and we hope that you will stick with us as we embark on this crazy journey together!

(lol how annoying do I look in this picture?)

(Saying goodbye to Katie Jo)

This Summer has also taught me a lot about who my real friends are. Looking back, I've realized that my once large circle of friends, has become an extremely small dot. To be honest though, I prefer it that way. It was hard because most of my friends moved away to college this year. I had to say goodbye to some of my closest friends like Katie Jo(pictured above), and Kathy(pictured below). I've known them both for so long and watching them leave for college wasn't exactly my favorite thing to do. That being said, I know that they are going to both go on to do some amazing things. If any of my friends that have left for college are reading this, I want you guys to know that I'm wishing you all the best, and I know that you will be successful with whatever it is you wish to do. Thanks for being there for me guys!

(Dylan, Kathy, and I hanging out at my house!)

(We look like mannequins! Dylan, Jenna, & Myself)

Another great thing that happened for Dylan and I this Summer was getting to know Jenna Sousa! She's an amazing singer who I interviewed, and now we are both lucky enough to call her a friend. The above picture was taken when we went to visit Jenna in Rhode Island. We had such an awesome time hanging out and exploring...well I don't know if you can call it exploring since it is the smallest state in the country. Make sure you guys follow her on Twitter @Songlover6.

(The three of us on a mall adventure)

(Dylan & I on a youth group trip to Sea Isle)

I'm looking back on this post and I'm realizing that there is just way too much to talk about! This post barely scratches the surface of my Summer, but I hope you guys enjoyed this little glimpse into my life. Tomorrow is a big day for me! I'm moving on to the next chapter of my life and starting my first day of college. I'll be completely honest with you guys, I'm a little nervous, but I know that it's going to be a big stepping stone for me. Well, that pretty much sums it all up. Thank you for all your support. I'm excited to see what the future holds, and I'm glad that I can bring you all along with me!

*A message from Dylan*
Hey guys! So this summer has been a lot fun, but also a lot of hard work. Starting off at about 8,000 views on YouTube at the start of this summer and ending with 14,240 views is pretty awesome. But, I wouldn't have been able to get this far without not only my manager who happens to be my best friend, but you guys, the fans! Just a quick throw out, for those who don't already, you can follow me on Twitter @DTBMuzic and on Keek @dylantbernardmusic! Other than that I had an amazing summer vacation. New York City, Rhode Island, Philadelphia! Definitely the most I've traveled during the summer! But, I just wanted to thank you guys for all of the support and love I get from you guys! It means the world to me. Make sure you guys stay tuned on my YouTube channel (youtube.com/dylantbernard) for some more covers and updates as to what I'm doing! I love you guys! #SWAGNATION
