Happy New Year !

I wanted to post this before my family and friends started arriving. 2011 has come and gone, and it's almost 2012. So much has happened for me this year and I am so thankful for all of it. I was featured in a book alongside some incredible young entrepreneurs, I was a finalist in the CBS Most Valuable Blogger, I got to interview tons of amazing talent, and I got to read so many emails/comments from all of you! I want to thank all of you for sticking around since day one, and I want to welcome all of my new readers as well. Thanks for visiting!

I've been blessed enough to interview people such as Kingsley, Jessica Jarrell, Dawn Richard of Diddy-Dirty Money, Mindless Behavior, Cimorelli, and many other amazing people.  My page impressions have never been higher, and the support has never been greater. I've really been able to meet and speak with some great people because of this website and I'm truly grateful for all the doors that this opportunity has opened for me. 2011 was a great year, but I'm even more excited for 2012. I've never felt better about something, and I believe that this upcoming year will be one of the best things to happen to me.

Thank you so much for all of your support. I hope to continue to please all of you in the upcoming year. I have some big plans for the future and I can't wait to see them come into fruition.  I also want to give a special shout out to Malibu Mara. She has helped me out so much and she adds another dimension to this website. Without her who knows where we would be. Also, shout out to Jeff Skomsky and Nikki Sheets. You may not hear much from them but they help me a lot behind the scenes. I hope everyone stays safe tonight. Have a blessed New Year!

Russell Brand Files for Divorce

I really hate to report this but I must. It has now been confirmed that after rumors of Katy Perry and Russell Brand having a huge argument, the couple is splitting up. Russel Brand filed for divorce sometime today and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason. He goes onto say "Sadly Katy and I are ending our marriage.. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends." Early this month Russell Brand appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show saying he was very happily married. He said, "I'm married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I'm still alive.

I'm sorry Russell...did you recently die, because I didn't hear about that. I'm getting annoyed with all of these celebrities thinking it's okay to just get married overnight, and then divorce in a short amount of time. It portrays a terrible message to all of their fans. It's even worse when you go on a talk show mocking other marriages because they got a divorce, and then get a divorce yourself less than a month later. I don't even know what to say about this honestly. I just hope they both remain civil.

Is Lady Gaga Really Buying A Pennsylvania Mansion?

Rumors have surfaced that Lady Gaga has been house hunting in Pennsylvania and that the mansion pictured above is the property in question. We can now confirm that the mansion above is not being looked at by Lady Gaga. The realtor of the property, Anne M. Lusky has said that she is looking to sell, however neither Gaga or her reps are one of the interested buyers. She goes onto say that since the rumors began, she has received over 150 offers, with some being legitimate. Lastly, she says that everyone who said they saw Gaga at the property had actually saw her. She was wearing a leopard print coat, with unique heels, big sunglasses, and she had her long blond hair down. People then paired this with the fact that Gaga was spotted in the area a few hours later and just assumed it was her looking for a house. Whether or not Lady Gaga will eventually become a Pennsylvania resident is unknown, however the house above is not in question yet! I guess we'll just have to wait and see if Gaga does choose to buy a new home.

Snooki's Weight Loss?!

I May be late on this, but Snooki has recently unveiled her new body because she finally reached her goal weight of 98lbs. She's like 4'10'', so that's actually a healthy weight for her... But for how she lost all that weight, is probably another story.

Oh and In Touch Magazine gave the girls of Jersey Shore all a make-under... they look so much better without makeup

P.S. I don't even watch Jersey Shore... I refuse, I just thought this was interesting.

Air Jordan Sneakers Cause Mayhem

When I heard about this on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day I decided not to blog about it, just because it was the holidays and I wasn't working on the site for those days. The fact that I'm still hearing about them though, means that I can blog about them. These Air Jordan XI Concords have sparked mall mayhem across the world! People have been fighting each other, breaking down doors, and trampling over everyone, including children, just to get a hold of these retro sneakers.

The sneakers sold for close to $200, and are still in high demand. They're nearly impossible to get in stores now and due to the fact that they were limited edition it will probably stay like that. Of course, you can get them online if you're willing to pay anywhere between $500-$1000.

Okay...now for my reaction. WHY would anyone go to those extremes for these sneakers. The only time I even get in line for anything is on Black Friday, other than that, you will not find me getting up at crazy hours just to buy something. To be completely honest, I think the sneakers are hideous...I would never pay $200 for those, let alone fight people for them. I'm sorry guys but I don't see what the big deal is with these. It's not like they're the actual pair that Michael Jordan wore himself.

Taylor Lautner NOT Gay

Rumors have been flying around the blogosphere and on Twitter, saying that Taylor Lautner has "come out" and revealed that he is gay. It all started with this image of Taylor Lautner on the cover of People Magazine with the headline "Out & Proud."The cover goes on to say "Tired of rumors, the Twilight star opens up about his decision to finally come out... 'I'm more liberated, and happier than I've ever been." I've been seeing countless Tweets about this cover, and I had to do some research before I blogged about it. I can now confirm that this issue, which is supposedly scheduled for release on January 7th, is 100% FAKE. A rep for People stated that it is "absolutely fake." I'm sure this won't be the end of this rumor, but if you see anyone sharing this photo, you can now tell them that it's a phony! Hopefully this cleared things up for you guys!

Merry Christmas Everyone !

It's already Christmas Eve and I know that I'm going to be extremely busy tomorrow, so I wanted to blog now and wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all get whatever it is that you asked for, but more importantly, I hope that everyone can find a sense of happiness tomorrow. There are so many people suffering in the world and I just ask that you keep them in your prayers. Christmas really is a great thing, but it's not always about the presents. Remember to keep your family and friends close to your heart, and have a special day tomorrow. I'll be back to my regular blogging schedule on Monday. So again, from my family, to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Rihanna - You Da One Video

Rihanna just released her brand new video for her hit single "You Da One." I actually really like the video and think it fits with the song pretty well. I also think Rihanna looks beautiful with the short hair that she's wearing in the video. She's been on top of her game lately, especially with her music videos. I can't think of one of her recent videos that have been bad. A lot of people are saying that it reminds them of a video from her past album "Rated R" and they like that she's incorporating her new album and old one into a video. Let me know what you think of the video!

Melanie Amaro Sings Listen

Melanie Amaro is simply amazing! If she does not win, there is something seriously wrong with voters. Check out her cover of "Listen," which was the show closing performance of the night. If this doesn't prove that she should win the competition, then I don't know what will. Also, I bet you didn't know that this was a last minute change! Melanie Amaro was actually scheduled to sing a different song but Simon Cowell told her that they need to do something bigger, and the she should sing "Listen." Personally, I think it's a great fit for Melanie and the song definitely tells her story. Make sure you tune into Fox tonight to see who will be declared the winner of The X Factor.

Tamar's Family Values?

I think we all saw this one coming. Tamar Braxton, and her husband Vincent Herbert, are scheduled to have their own spin-off reality series tentatively titled "Tamar and Vince." If you've seen only five minutes of The Braxton's Family Values, then you already know that Tamar is the most outspoken and "loud" Braxton on the show. She's always attempting to keep the spot light on her and now I guess she's getting just what she wanted. The reality series will air on WE TV sometime in late 2012.

The show will follow the lives of Tamar and Vince as they go through their daily marital struggles, along with their personal issues. In addition, the show will give viewers a much closer view into Tamar's career. As of now there have been 8, one hour, episodes ordered. Taping is said to start in early 2012. What do you think of the spin-off? Will you be watching?

It's A Kardashian Christmas !

America's favorite/most hated family, The Kardashian's, have just released their 2011 family Christmas card! The family got together in their sleekest attire and posed for a nice little christmas card. The card features All the siblings, Mason, Scott, Lamar, Bruce, and Kris(not Humphries). Kim is featured standing independently with her arms out, almost as a statement that she's single. There are rumors going around that Kris Humphries was photo shopped out of the picture, but those rumors are false. The photo was taken days after the divorce was announced, so he wasn't even there to begin with. Also, it may look a little bit blurry, but that's because the card is in 3D! Yup, that's right, if you year 3D glasses you'll be able to see the whole family in full detail. I'm not sure why you would need a 3D Christmas card, but at the same time I would secretly love to receive one of these! I never got the whole Christmas card thing. My family has never done them, but maybe we should start. Do you take pictures for Christmas cards?

Selena Gomez Family Emergency

Singer Selena Gomez has canceled two holiday themed shows that were scheduled for this weekend, after receiving news of a family emergency. She was in the audience at Power 106's Cali Christmas 2011 Concert, when she first heard of the emergency, and sources are saying that she left immediately. Her reps are saying that the singer is okay but needed to be with her family for the time being. Twitter overflowed with love and support for the pop-star, and her fans even got "Pray for Selena" to trend. Selena's best friend Demi Lovato sent a tweet simply saying "I love you."

As of now nothing has been confirmed by reps, but there are reports that Selena's mother, Mandy, suffered a miscarriage. Three weeks ago Selena Gomez revealed that she would soon be a big sister, and that her mother was pregnant with her first child with Selena's step dad Brian Teefy. I really hope that is not the case. Please keep Selena and her family in your prayers for the time being. I'll be sure to update you guys on Twitter once something is confirmed.

X Factor Final Three

It's time to recap last night's X Factor result show. I actually missed the group performance but I heard it wasn't that great. Florence and the Machine performed, and usually I'm a big fan of hers, however  I wasn't feeling the song last night. Her vocals were on point, but overall I just didn't "get" the whole song. Nicole Scherzinger performed and did a great job, but again, I didn't "get" the song. She goes from singing dance hits, to belting out Whitney Houston, to singing opera, to an edgy rock-ish song.

After the performances we finally got to find out what we really cared about; who would make it to the finals. Chris Rene was put through first, followed by Melanie Amaro. The "bottom" two were Marcus Canty and Josh Krajcik and of course Marcus was sent home. There you have it; the final three are Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro, and Josh Krajcik.  Personally, I think that Chris should have been replaced with Drew or Rachel just because I feel like Chris has been using his story more than the other contestants, which allows him to get the "sympathy vote." In regards to the finalists' talent, Melanie is clearly the best vocally, followed by Josh, and then Chris would be last. Does this mean that Melanie is going to win? In my opinion, no. I actually believe that she has the smallest chance of winning. Most of the voting is done by teenage girls, and the majority of them won't vote for another girl because they're always judging each other.

I'm predicting a Chris Rene victory, as he is the contestant who seems to get the biggest cheers, the most buzz, and the judges have seemed to favor him and advertise him as the best throughout the whole competition. Melanie and Josh will both have careers after this show, but I really don't see Chris fitting into the music industry with the skill level he's at right now. Maybe he can write for other artists, or go into development for a year or two, but he just doesn't have the voice to make it in my opinion. Who do you want to win?

Nicole Scherzinger Phantom Of The Opera

Last week I tweeted that I had lost all respect in Nicole Scherzinger, but after watching the video above I think I gained it all back. I've always said that Nicole Scherzinger is one of the most underrated artists of our time and this performance clearly shows how talented she really is. She performed "Phantom of the Opera" at the Royal Variety show and did amazing! I knew that she could sing opera somewhat from watching different interviews with her, but I had no idea that she was that good. She hits the last note effortlessly, and the whole song went rather smoothly in my opinion. I actually don't like opera music but I didn't mind listening to the whole song just to hear her sing. First she does Whitney Houston on X Factor, and now she sings like a professionally trained opera singer? What style of music can't Nicole sing!

Selena's Stalker Admits He's Dangerous

The man accused of stalking Selena Gomez has recently spoken out stating that he does not deny the fact that a restraining order needs to be issued. He says; "I believe that a restraining order should be issued against me to prevent me from trying to contact Selena Gomez... I do not wish to object to the restraining order against me because I know it is the only thing that will make me stay way from Selena." The 46 year old man named Thomas Brodnicki stated that he had multiple conversations with God, in which he was instructed by a higher being to kill the 19 year old popstar. Personally, I find this extremely eerie and I really hope this restraining order gets approved and that everything works out for Selena in the end!

Kendall and Kylie Get A Jewelry Deal

Kendall and Kylie Jenner must be tired of living in the shadow of their super famous sisters because they have decided to embark on their on entrepreneurial journey! The two have just landed a deal with Glamhouse jewelry company (famous for brands such as House of Harrow by Nicole Richie Belle Noel by Kim Kardashian), and will be designing a line of jewelry for teens. Kendall and Kylie collaborated with their sisters for a nail polish collection, but this is the first time that the two will be doing something on their own. I'm actually very excited for them and I think it's almost time for them to take the spotlight, while their older sisters begin to fade away a little bit. Don't get me wrong, I love the Kardashians, but I'd like hear more about Kendall and Kylie. In a few years Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe will be out of the spotlight, and I think now is the perfect time to begin the transition and bring in the new generation. I'd love to see Kendall and Kylie get their own spin-off series too!

When Can We Expect Adele's Next Album?

Unfortunately the answer is, not for quite some time. The British songstress recently stated that she plans on taking some time off now, and that she's "really looking forward to some time to do nothing." The singer went on to say, "I imagine I'll be 25 or 26 by the time my next record comes out, as I haven't even thought about my third album yet." Adele is currently only 23, so that means that we have to wait at least two or three years for new music. That's going to feel like such a long time! She also said that after she takes a break, she won't be releasing music until she feels it's good enough. Adele's album, 21, is iTunes top selling album of 2011, and it has also been named the top selling album of the century in the UK. After the massive amount of success that Adele had this year, a break is definitely well-deserved. Congrats Adele! Hopefully two or three years goes by quickly.

Rachel Crow X Factor Elimination

As much as I don't want to blog about this, I almost feel obligated to do so. Last night, America had to say goodbye to X Factor favorite, Rachel Crow. Rachel was sent to the bottom two and forced to perform against Marcus Canty, who has been in the bottom for three weeks now. Marcus sang first and did a good job with "I'm Goin' Down." Rachel performed "I'd Rather Go Blind" and completely blew Marcus out of the water. Her performance was the best I've ever heard her! I could feel every word she sang, and she clearly out-sang Marcus.

When it came time to vote, LA Reid voted to send Rachel home, Simon voted to send Marucs home, and Paula voted to send Marcus home. This left the deciding vote to Nicole Scherzinger. She began to break down and said that she couldn't make the decision so she voted to send Rachel home just to go to deadlock. Then, the biggest shock of the season happened. Host Steve Jones revealed that America had voted to send Rachel Crow home! Rachel broke down and the show pretty much went crazy. Nicole began to break down, Simon ran on stage, Rachel cried out for her mother; it was actually really sad to watch. When they asked  Nicole if she had anything to say the crowd immediately booed her and she turned around and walked away crying.

At first I was furious with Nicole Scherzinger, and I'm still disappointed that she couldn't make the decision herself, but now I realized that America should have voted for Rachel if they wanted her to stay. At the same time, if the judges aren't going to judge the acts and take into consideration their survival song, than don't make them sing for survival. If Nicole followed her heart, and voted based on the performances, I truly believe she would have sent Marcus home. I know that this is not the end for Rachel Crow and I wish her the best in the future. I would love to interview her sometime soon!

LG Double Play

This post brought to you by LG DoublePlay™. All opinions are 100% mine.

I really have to tell you guys about this great phone! It's called the LG DoublePlay™ and it's sold exclusively at T-Mobile. The phone has not one, but TWO customizable touch screens, and a full QWERTY keyboard. There's the main screen, and then there is a sort of sub screen that can be customized with your favorite links, apps, etc. This phone is also great for multi-tasking! You can surf the web while checking your emails, or responding to a text. That's probably one of the most useful features in any possible phone! The QWERTY keyboard is split, which makes for an even smoother texting experience. In addition to the physical keyboard, there is a swipe to text virtual keyboard so you get the best of both worlds.

The LG DoublePlay comes equipped with Android 2.3, which of course includes the Android Marketplace, giving you access to thousands and thousands of apps. In a world that is dominated by social-media, the LG DoublePlay is the perfect device for you. It will allow you to stay connected with your friends, and multi-task on all of your social network platforms at the same time. Who doesn't want that!

I know I send thousands of text messages a month, and spend countless hours on social networking sites when I'm on my phone, so this is a great fix. If I were able to multi-task and take care of everything with this great device, just imagine how much more convenient that would be. Think about it; how many texts do you send each month, and how many hours are you on social networks through your phone? What if you could get everything done quickly and efficiently? Well, now you can! Be sure to go to your closest T-Mobile store and ask them about the LG DoublePlay today!

Album Review - Lioness: Hidden Treasures

Producers Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson have come together to release, what is being described as a "12 track collection featuring unreleased gems, covers and alternate versions of existing songs." The two producers worked closely with Amy's family, management and record label to create what is, in my opinion, a must have album. Before I began listening to the album I was a little apprehensive as to what I was going to hear. Many posthumous albums just don't seem "complete" to me, but this album was quite different. From the very first song I was intrigued. It was as if the only thing that mattered was Amy's voice, and the story she was telling. That's the thing that I love about Amy Winehouse's music; it tells a story. Music is meant to be felt, not just heard, and Amy does a great job with enabling the listener to feel every single word she sings. To be completely honest, there isn't one bad song on the whole CD. My favorite's, however, would have to be "Our Day Will Come," and "Half Time." All in all this is a beautiful tribute to Amy, and it shows her true talent. Artists like Amy Winehouse only come around once every so often, but when they do their impact is massive. All of the proceeds are being donated to The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which was set up in memory of the late singer, to help change the lives of today's young people. I urge you all to buy this great album, and help with a great cause in the process. Thank you for your music Amy. May you rest in peace.

H&M Uses Computerized Models?

This is really weird. Clothing giant H&M has recently come clean about their recent swimsuit and lingerie ads, stating that the bodies of the models are all computer generated. H&M released a statement stating that the clothes are shot on a mannequin and then edited with a computer program to appear as though they are being photographed on an actual model. If you ask me this is disgusting. It makes it seem as though a real body isn't good enough for their clothes. Everyone is flawed in one way or another, and by not using a real body it could make others feel as though they aren't as pretty, or good-looking as these models. So many people suffer from image issues to begin with and it's brands like this that cause these issues amongst today's young generation. H&M needs to start using real models, or just leaving the clothes on mannequins, anything else is completely unacceptable.

Misha B Sings Pink

I've  been following Misha B ever since her first audition on The X Factor UK. She has such an amazing gift and when she performs she becomes the only thing that matters. I can't believe that she was not discovered before the show. Check out her latest performance of Pink's "F-cking Perfect"(which she does perfectly by the way.) If she doesn't win than there is something seriously wrong. I know that a lot of people dislike her in the UK because of her attitude, but come on, her voice alone should make up for that. If you are a UK reader please vote for Misha B! I love watching her performances every week and I would hate for that to stop.

Drew Ryniewicz Sent Home !

You guys knew that I had to write about this. Drew Ryniewicz, one of the most talented performers on The X Factor, was sent home after losing to Marcus Canty in the bottom two sing-off. Drew was one of my favorite singers in the whole competition and I'm extremely disappointed to see her go. Unlike most of the singers in the competition, Drew had a natural talent. She had a raw ability that was clearly being nurtured week to week. The tone to her voice was something that you cannot learn, but rather, something she was born with. The fact that she lost to Marcus Canty made it even worse for me. I think Marcus is a talented singer but I feel like his nerves are getting the best of him every week. I mean come on...maybe you like him overall but there's no denying the fact that he's extremely pitchy. Eliminations like this frustrate me so much! I really just want to wish Drew the best. I know that the future is going to be very bright for her and that her career is just beginning. I really hope to interview her some day.

Mairah Carey & Justin Bieber - All I Want For Christmas Is You

I'm not sure if you guys saw the video yet but I wanted to share it with you all. Check out the new video for  Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You." The video is okay. It's not really that great, but it's not terrible either. My main problem with it is that it feels more like a Macy's commercial than it does an actual music video. I'm also really interested to know if Mariah re-recorded her vocals for this song, or if she just used her old recording. What do you guys think? Oh yeah! One more comment; whoever has been dressing Justin Bieber lately needs to be fired.

Melanie Amaro Performs "Earth Song"

This girl is amazing. Week after week she gives a stellar performance that proves she is the one to beat, and last night was no exception! Melanie Amaro performed Michael Jackson's "Earth Song" and did a great job with it. This is probably one of Michael's most difficult songs to cover just because his voice is so distinct at the end but Melanie made it her own and showed off even more of her range. Melanie Amaro has one of the best voices I've heard on a talent competition and I really hope she wins. My second favorite performance of the night definitely belonged to Drew, who performed "Billie Jean" with her own touch. Drew is simply amazing as well. She has something that you cannot learn. For all intensive purposes, she has the "X Factor." I didn't really like any one else last night. I thought they did okay, but Melanie and Drew were in a league of their own. Tune in tonight to see who gets sent home during the double elimination.

Kourtney Kardashian's Pregnant Again!

Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick are expecting their second child together! News broke on Wednesday, when the couple announced the pregnancy on the cover of Us Weekly. Scott Disick said that they "weren't trying," and that it just happened.  Kourtney goes on to tell the magazine that she's nine weeks pregnant and felt comfortable enough to tell the public. There's still no word on whether or not the two will be getting married but after Kim's 72 day marriage I'd be surprised if a ceremony was held anytime soon. My advice to the Kardashian family from now on would be not to televise your wedding. Anyway, congratulations to Kourtney and Scott on their second child, and I wish them all the best!

Florence and the Machine Covers Drake

Florence and the Machine recently covered a Drake hit and did an amazing job with it! Florence did a great job covering Drake and Rihanna's "Take Care," and I personally prefer this version as opposed to the original. I'm sure many people won't agree with me, but I love Florence's voice. I think she is extremely talented and this soulful rendition just proves that. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Drake and Rihanna fan so I mean them no disrespect, but Florence just did great here. The performance took place at the groups BBCR1's Live Lounge performance. Let me know what you think of Florence's performance. Also, if anyone from Florence's camp is reading this, I'd love to interview her so feel free to email me!

Kourtney and Kim Take New York

It's almost that time again! The Kardashians will be taking over the TV again as Kourtney and Kim Take New York will air it's second season tonight at 10pm ET/PT on E!There has been a lot of drama surrounding the family ever since Kim divorced Kris and I'm interested to see if people actually follow through with their "Kardashian Boycott." Whether you like this family or not there is no denying that they are global super stars. Personally, I will be watching not only because I like the Kardashians, but because I want to see what they do with Kris Humphries. I'm sure he will be in the season, but a part of me believes that they will edit the footage to turn him into the bad guy. It may be wrong but that's exactly what this family needs right now. If they can convert the negativity against Kim, to negativity against Kris than everything will go back to how it was. Anyway, let me know if you will be watching the Kardashians tonight. I may be tweeting during it so follow me @OfficialJaySwag.

Black Friday 2011

Technically it's still Black Friday, but by now the major rush is over. I went to a local mall at 11pm and was there until 3am. I've been going Black Friday shopping for a few years now and usually the sales don't impress me. This year I was actually impressed with the savings that I found though. I got a nice gift for my mom and saved a great deal of money. I went with my cousin Stephanie and her boyfriend Daniel and they both were able to find great deals as well. After a long day of shopping the best thing to do is go home and go to sleep, which I did! Tell me about your Black Friday shopping experiences. Where did you go? Did you get what you wanted? Share your shopping experiences below!

Keri Hilson Disses Beyonce...Again

First, I would like to say that I try my best to stay out of the celebrity gossip side of this industry, and post my opinion based on hardcore facts. That being said, this post is probably considered 'gossip' but I really needed to discuss it, and ask you all your opinion. Think back to a few years ago when Keri Hilson released the "Turning Me On" remix, which clearly included disses towards superstar Beyonce. Keri denied this but I don't believe her, and now this video above proves that the song was definitely about the Queen Bey. Juicy Magazine was asking various celebrities to promote their magazine by simply posing with the latest issue, which featured Beyonce and Jay Z on the cover. All of the artists agreed to do so...except for Keri. She says "Who's this...No, I can't do that I'm sorry." First off, unless you live under a rock that you know exactly who was on the cover. It's not easy to mix up Jay Z and Beyonce. A song is one thing, but this was supposed to be for the magazine, not Beyonce. I think it's very unprofessional and it definitely gives off bad publicity! What do you think of this situation?  Was Keri right to stick by her views, or should she have swallowed her pride and supported the magazine? Leave a comment below defending your opinion.

Nicki Minaj Announces New Album

The Young Money rap princess Nicki Minaj, has announced her next album and it's release date. Last night, on the anniversary of Pink Friday, Minaj tweeted that Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded will drop in stores on Valentines day! I'll definitely be one of the first in line to get a copy. There is no word on whether or not this will be a reissue of Pink Friday, or a completely new album as Nicki has been hinting at different possibilities. At a backstage concert she stated that there would be no features on the album. There are also rumors that she'll be releasing a new single before 2012. Whatever the future has planned for Nicki Minaj I'm sure it will be huge. I can't wait to hear her new material.

French Macarons

I have seen these things all over the Internet for the longest time! I finally found out what they were and I decided that I had to try them. I went online to find out where I could order my very first French Macarons from and quickly realized that the best places seemed to be in New York City. I quickly came across the Macaron Cafe (http://www.macaroncafe.com) and decided to place an order. I got six different flavors; Vanilla, Chocolate Coconut, Almond, Pistachio, Lemon, and Raspberry. First, can I just say that I ordered these on Saturday and they came today. That is incredible! The service was so fast, and the packaging was so nice as well. So far I've just tried the Vanilla flavor, but the taste was amazing! It was so rich, and the texture was great. I'm definitely a fan of these and I can see myself ordering them in the future! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to try something different. The Macaron Cafe in NYC also ships nationwide so feel free to check them out and order you and your families a nice treat!

2011 American Music Award Fashion

I don't know what it is at music award shows, but I get really picky with all of the artists. Its almost like no one ever knows what to wear so you see a huge range of good and bad... mostly bad.

First off, Chris Brown sang his heart out, it was great... But what was he wearing? He looked so basic.

Christina Aguliera's Stylist forgot to give her spanx.

Side note, No shave November is affecting the Beibs, he has a 'stache?

However, Him and Selena looked great:

And Katy Perry decided to dress like Jigglypuff? WHY! It was horrendous.

I love Ellie Goulding. She's possibly my fave of the night.

AND Jennifer Hudson is looking great!

The only real theme in dresses from the night was metallic and sparkles. I didn't show Taylor Swift because shes worn that simple glittery dress like 23049823948 times already. And I am also tired of her pretending to be surprised when she wins an award. J.Lo also wore a Britney/Cher-esque outfit, while recreating her fiat commercial. I have to give her props though, she looks good!

2011 American Music Awards

What can I say about the American Music Awards. Usually I don't find myself watching an award show the whole way through unless it's the Grammy's or some other high profile event. Other than that, I will record the show and fast forward to the performances on the following day. However, I actually watched most of the American Music Awards. The bad news is that it wasn't necessarily for the show itself, but it was due to Twitter! I love tweeting and reading your responses to what's going on. My favorite performance was probably Chris Brown. When he's not trying to fly around...literally...he's actually a good performer. I thought he sang well and I didn't mind the dancing bit at the end.

Now, this is going to be hard for me to admit because you all know how much I love Nicki Minaj, but it must be said. Nicki...I have been a fan since day one. I've listened since the Come Up. I love "Itty Bitty Piggy," "I Get Crazy," and a bunch of your other older songs. I feel like we're almost losing you. Does anyone else feel like that? Don't get me wrong, it's still all love for Nicki, but I just wish she would do some more music for her day one fans. I understand that in order to stay relevant she has to do pop music, but I felt like last night's performance was almost from a different artist.

I loved Katy Perry's performance! I think the song is great and she actually sounded really nice. I thought the acoustic version was also a nice touch. My only problem was this; If you're going to perform a serious song and make it really touching...please look like a human. Why did she feel the need to look like Judy Jetson mixed with Jigglypuff.

Justin...what are you wearing? I've come a long way from my earlier days when I used to bash Justin Bieber for every single thing he did. I actually don't mind him or his music anymore, but last night was just terrible. He sounded flat for most of his performance and it was just awkward to me. I also want to know why every artist feels the need to dress like they're from out of space when they perform. It's not cool on everybody...actually it's only cool on Gaga.

Oh yeah. Adam Levine sang...or at least tried to. He's usually such a good singer so I'd really love to know why he was so bad last night.

That's really my round up guys! Everything was either irrelevant or just didn't interest me. Again, thanks for tweeting along with me last night, and for putting up with me as I ranted! I can't wait to attend one of these shows some day. I feel like I'll be tweeting the whole night.

Astro Apologizes

I was a little disappointed when I found out that Stacy Francis was in the bottom two last week, but I was relieved when I found out Astro was her competition. Since day one I have not liked Astro. I felt that he was way too cocky and to be completely honest, I didn't think he was that talented. In my mind there was no way that Stacy would be going home...I was wrong. As much as I liked Stacy though, I knew there was no way she could win, so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. Then, I watched what actually happen. I was disgusted with Astro's attitude! He acted like such a child(I know that he is a kid, but if you want to pretend that you're the best you better act like it too). He should have been kicked off the show just for being immature. Anyway, he took to Facebook on Friday to apologize. Below is his statement.

I'm sorry I wasted your time posting that "speech" but I didn't feel like typing it out. He said that he felt that he was being "mistreated." I would really love to know how, and who was mistreating him? Just because America put you in the bottom two doesn't mean everyone is out to get you, it means that you sucked the night before. It's that simple. This kid frustrates me and I really do not like him! I'm hoping he gets off the show soon.

Happy Birthday Stephanie / Breaking Dawn Experience

So, this post has two purposes. First, I want to wish my cousin Stephanie a Happy Birthday. Yes, her birthday was technically yesterday but I never got around to doing an official post for her. She turned 22! Above is a picture of my cousins and I at her party(Stephanie is on the left and Karelie is on the right). I had a great time and I'm so glad that I got to see her again. She's been away at college so we don't get to see each other as often as we used to. Anyway, you should definitely follow her on Twitter @ModelStella and like her Facebook fan page by clicking HERE. Below is a picture of Stephanie and her boyfriend Daniel.

The second purpose of this post is to talk about Breaking Dawn. I went to see the movie today with Karelie, Stephanie and Daniel. Overall I enjoyed the movie and I thought it was entertaining. I've been a fan of the Twilight saga since the first one came out and in my opinion they have just gotten better. I always see so much negative criticism regarding the series and personally I don't think it's necessary. Of course, Twilight is by no means a ground breaking movie like Avatar, but that isn't the purpose of a movie like Twilight. It's purpose is to entertain it's fans and give them what they want. If you are fan of the series then I think you will like Breaking Dawn. My only criticism is that the cliff hanger ending was almost too much of a cliff hanger.

Breaking Dawn Not Breaking Records

Breaking Dawn may be one of the most anticipated films of the year, but that didn't enable it to break any box office records. The fourth installment of the Twilight Saga took in about $30.3 million during it's midnight premier. The last Harry Potter film took in $43.5 million at it's midnight showing. Many are saying that perhaps the Twilight Saga has reached it's peak, while others are expecting the final film in the series to do just as well, if not better, than Harry Potter. Breaking Dawn's three day gross is expected to be between $143 million-$150 million, which would rank it as the fourth biggest opener ever. All in all the film has been receiving excellent reviews and I will definitely be checking it out soon. I'm not sure, but I may do a quick post about the film after I watch it. If you saw Breaking Dawn already please leave your comments and let me know what you thought of it!

X Factor: Who's My Favorite?

We all know that last night was X Factor night. If you follow my Twitter then you already know that I am literally obsessed with that show. I Tweet for almost every act and respond to everyone who is tweeting me about the show as well. It's no surprise that my favorite act is Melanie Amaro. I have supported her since day one and last night was no different. Her performance of "Everybody Hurts" by REM was simply amazing. Her tone is so pure and she now has so much more control over her voice compared to her earlier performances. I will admit that Josh Krajcik's performance was more of a rock performance, but then again, his tone naturally works with rock music. Personally I don't like the "theme" week idea. Not every singer is able to sing every genre, and no singer would sing every genre on their own album. Regardless, my favorite acts of the night were Melanie, Josh, Drew, and Marcus. Be sure to watch the result show live tonight to see if your favorite act makes it through!

Chiddy Bang to Release Full Length Album

Hip-Hop duo Chiddy Bang is preparing to release their full length debut album "Breakfast" in the US on February 28th. The two will be releasing their album through Virgin Records. Spin Magazine calls the album "one of the most anticipated debuts." Chiddy Bang was put on the map with their breakthrough hit "Opposite of Adults." The group spent the past two years perfecting their sound and writing material for their upcoming release. Their single "Ray Charles" will hit radio stations on January 9th, but it is commercially available today! It has been described as "a soulful but fun track with a playful party vibe, featuring a Gospel choir, bluesy piano and a smattering of drum breaks. Be sure to check that out by clicking HERE.

Rihanna ft Jay Z - Talk That Talk

I've been hearing so much about Rihanna's new album but I haven't really listened to anything yet. Today I got an email about a Rihanna and Jay Z song called "Talk That Talk." I was a big fan of them when they worked together on Run This Town so I decided to give this a listen. I actually like the song and it reminds me of Rihanna in her earlier days. Her and Jay Z work so well together and I think that her album will be a huge success. In addition to this, another song titled "Where Have You Been" just surfaced. I didn't listen to that yet but it's produced by Calvin Harris, the man behind "We Found Love," so I'm sure it's pretty good. All in all I'm interested in listening to Rihanna's new album as a whole, and see how she has evolved from her last studio album.

Katy Perry Releases New Music Video

Katy Perry appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today to premiere her brand new music video for "The One That Got Away." The video portrays an aged Katy reminiscing about a relationship with an artist played by Diego Luna. The younger Katy is also sporting a much more serious look as opposed to her usual pink hair. As the flashback continues you see that the two got into an argument and Diego drives off, only to lose control of the vehicle and swerves off a cliff. Although the video is more depressing than Katy Perry's past videos I actually really like it. The song and video go so well together and I think it shows a different dynamic of Perry.

Katy Perry has also announced that she will be adding a second show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles that will take place on November 23rd. She says that this show is a "thank you" to her fans and so the show will be free! It will wrap up the pop star's sold out 122-date California Dreams World Tour. If you live in the area and would like to find out more information regarding this event go to www.facebook.com/katyperry before November 14th!

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Another year, another $12 million annual fashion show from Victoria's Secret.
The show was filmed on Wednesday night, but will air on NOVEMBER 29, so MARK YOUR CALENDARS! There were performances from Maroon 5 (of course, he's dating a VS model), Kanye West and Jay-z, AND Nicki Minaj! I can't wait until the 29th to see the show!
