Jessica Sanchez: Sweet Dreams

Last night the Idol contestants had to sing their own idol's songs. Jessica Sanchez sang Beyonce's Sweet Dreams and that's exactly what her voice sounded like! At this point I'm predicting that Jessica Sanchez will be in the top 3, if not win the whole thing. I think her voice sounded beautiful, but I would really love to hear her sing a faster song. I think she could've sped this version up and it still would've sounded great. At certain times she even sounds a little bit like Beyonce. If that wasn't enough, Queen Bey her self posted this on her official Facebook page. Great job Jess! I can't wait to hear more from her in the upcoming weeks.

1000 Posts!...Well Kind Of.

I cannot believe that I missed my 1000th post...but I did! So this is post 1001, but I am writing it to celebrate that JaySwag.com has reached a huge milestone. When I started I never thought that any of this would be possible. A lot has changed from 2008 when it all began, but I am so proud of everything that I have been able to accomplish.

I want to thank Malibu Mara for being the best fashion blogger out there. Working with her has been incredible and together out blogs have both become pretty popular. I'm sure the future is going to be bright for both of us and I can't wait to work on more collaborations and posts. Look out for her on Jay Swag TV once that launches very soon.

I also need to thank Jeff Skomsky, my senior journalist. He didn't really do much for me at first, but recently he has helped a lot. Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the amount of emails and interview requests I get and it's so nice to have someone who is willing to help you. He has even travelled to Philly for me to cover an event that I was unable to attend, and interviewed Elvis Duran for the website.

Of course, I need to give a shout out to all of the celebrities, recording artists, actors, etc, that I have interviewed in the past years. It means so much to me to have had the chance to speak with, and meet some of the people I have met. I want to thank every record label and agent that has liked my website enough to send me press releases, music, interviews, and other different materials.

Lastly, I want to thank you guys, the readers. I can't believe that everyday when I log onto my computer I can go on this website that I have created and read comments from different people that appreciate what I do. I love hearing from you guys on here, Twitter, and through email. I have some interviews planned for the future that I'm sure you're going to love. I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, but thanks for all of your support thus far. Subscribe to my YouTube channel JaySwagTV and look out for web series that will be coming soon. Thanks guys!

Justin Bieber 'Boyfriend' Review

I just bought..that's right actually bought/paid for, my copy of Boyfriend by Justin Bieber just so I could write a review of it for you guys! Let me just say that the hype surrounding this song was ridiculous, and regardless of what I am about to say, I am sure that Justin Bieber has made more money off of this song than I've made in my entire life. Now, let's get to the review.

It's no surprise that I haven't been a "Justin Bieber hater," as you guys once called me, for a while now, but that doesn't excuse the fact that this song just doesn't cut it for me. When the beat started I thought that I was in for something good but I was quickly disappointed. The minute Justin Bieber started rapping I literally started cracking up. Before you start attacking me, because I know you well, I think Justin Bieber is a decent rapper. I've heard him rap before and I liked it, but this time it came off really awkward. I wanted to turn it off, but I decided to listen to the rest of song.

Then he started singing, and I actually enjoyed it. If he had sang throughout the entire song I think that I would like the single, and I definitely wouldn't have mind listening to it. His voice has definitely changed, and it seems like he has more control over it. Also, I don't think his falsetto has ever sounded better. He was definitely channeling his inner Justin Timberlake, which is a good thing.

Overall I was not impressed with the song and I have to give it a thumbs down. The rapping was somewhat scary and sounded like a child molester, but the singing was definitely decent. I would like to hear more from his album and I think I'll do a review of it when it's released. I'm interested in seeing where he goes with this one. Hopefully, but unlikely, I'll be able to do an interview with him to discuss it!

'The Hunger Games' Surpasses 'Twilight'

I didn't think it was possible, but according the sales it is very true! The Hunger Games raked in a whopping $155 million this weekend, making it the third top grossing film for an opening weekend. It surpassed the Twilight films and Spider Man 3, only to be topped by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and The Dark Knight. Also, The Hunger Games is off to a much greater start than any of the early Harry Potter films, and all of the Twilight films. A sequel is already being worked on, and is expected to be released in November 2013.

So, what did I think of the film? I went to the theaters (which I never do) just because everyone was talking about this movie and bought my ticket to The Hunger Games. As I watched the movie I couldn't help by think to myself "what is all the hype over?" Sure, it was a good movie, with an interesting plot, and decent acting, but I was expecting so much more. In my opinion, all of the advertising and press surrounding the film ruined it for me. I was expecting to see something life-changing, but I was slightly let down. Of course, it wasn't terrible and I would recommend seeing it, but it was just wasn't everything I thought it would be. I'd love to know what you thought about the movie. Comment below and let me know whether you agree with me, or if you think I'm crazy!

Tinashe Interview

Check out my interview with the beautiful and talented, Tinashe!

First, can you please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself?
“I'm Tinashe! I'm an independent 19 y.o. artist/ entertainer from LA.”

When did you first start to pursue a career in music?
“I started in the entertainment business as an actor and dancer as a kid, just WAITING until I was old enough to pursue music-- at 14 I was signed to Sony/Columbia in the pop group, "The Stunners".  I' m now 100% solo.”

Although you are a solo singer now, that wasn't always the case. When you were a part of The Stunners you were able to perform on The Wendy Williams, and even open up for Justin Bieber! Tell us a little bit about your experiences with the group. Do you prefer being a solo artist?
“I had so much fun in the group-- I really feel like it was the perfect learning experience for me-- now I am more prepared than ever to be on my own because I've already been on tours/ done tv performances/ radio interviews once before. I definitely prefer to be on my own just because it gives me the opportunity to create music that is more personal to me as a songwriter, and I'm able to truly be myself as an artist.”

Are you currently working on any projects you can tell us about?
“I'm currently putting together a tour for "In Case We Die" .. And music videos from my mixtape are in production-- the soonest to be released is " This Feeling" directed by Cole Walliser, and will come out at the beginning of April.”

Where would you like to be, as far as your career goes, by the end of this year?
“I would LOVE to have a radio hit, a larger fan base, and to have solidified myself as a major force to be reckoned with!!”

In addition to being a singer, you also act. You've even appeared on Two and a Half-Men! Are you interested in pursuing acting as well? If so, what kind of show would you like to be on?
“I would love to get back into acting-- I took a break from it when I started pursuing music full- time because I wanted to focus my efforts. In the future I'd love to be in more motion-pictures.”

If you could collab with any artist out there right now, who would you pick and why?
“Hmmm, today I would pick Kanye West. He's one of my favorite rappers.”

You are so beautiful and always look well put together. Who are your biggest style inspirations?
“Aw, thank you! I don't really have style inspirations per say.. I kind of like to play with fashion. Some days I feel like dressing one way, and others completely different.”

What advice would you give to a young singer trying to break into the industry?
“You have to think big-- bigger than everyone else... and if it comes down to it you have to make it happen yourself, as best you can!”

That was the last question. I want to thank you for speaking with Jay Swag Entertainment News. Do you have any last thoughts or comments?
“Thanks so much for the interview and the support! I appreciate the love ;) make sure you look out for my newest video "This Feeling" and visit  www.tinashenow.com or my Twitter: @tinashe for updates and new pics!!”

Kim Kardashian Flour Bombed

Kim Kardashian was at the London Hotel in West Hollywood for the launch of her new fragrance. The socialite was giving interviews to the press, when all of a sudden she was hit by a bag of flour! The bag was thrown by a young female, if you can even say that, attending the event. It's sad when people don't know how to act in public. At least Kim Kardashian remained calm about the situation.

Kim told E! the following; "That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that's happened to me. Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there!" Sources are saying that despite being a little annoyed, Kim laughed off the entire situation. The same cannot be said about her family.  Kris Jenner said, "If anybody comes at me with something call security." Khloe also commented saying, "I wish I was there with my sister tonight. I bet you woman wouldn't have dared a thing..."

What are you thoughts on the situation? Do you believe that security should have been tighter?

Jessica Sanchez Steals the Show

It's no surprise that American Idol is one of my favorite shows. I probably annoy all of you on Twitter when it's on haha! Anyway, I've been a supporter of Jessica Sanchez for years now. I used to speak with her through email and social networking sites and she's one of the nicest people ever. Unfortunately, I haven't spoken to her in so long, but I'm still a huge fan. Check out her amazing performance of Everybody Has a Dream from last night. Let me know what you thought!

Best Songs with Your Window Down

This post brought to you by Kia Rio. All opinions are 100% mine.

I've been blasting JHud's "Think Like A Man" lately, which features Ne-Yo and Rick Ross, just because it's such a great song and I don't think that she's sounded better. When I heard about the "Kia Best Songs to Play with Your Windows Down" I just had to submit the song and share the idea with you. Basically, here's how it works.

Visit the "Best Songs with your Windows Down" playlist and type the song you want to add, in the box. When it finds the song, select it, and then fill out your information and click submit. It's that simple! The song has to go through a verifcation process before it's added to the playlist, so keep that in mind. If you want to see what everyone else is litening to with their windows down, click View Playlist. Now, you will need Spotify to check it out, but that's free and easy to download if you're not using it already!

Comment below and let me know what song you pick. I chose mine just because it's such a catchy song and my friends and I were listening to it the other day on our way to New York. If I had to choose other songs I'd definitely have to add anything by Nicki Minaj. Songs are added everyday so you can check it out daily to find the best playlist on the web.

Did you know that Microsoft has introduced a new technology called UVO that can be found in Kia Motors? This is seriously awesome guys. It allows you to do so many things while driving all with the sound of your voice. It features a rear view camera, as well as Bluetooth voice control, and mp3 built right in. You can create speech profiles so that UVO remembers your voice and never misunderstands you! Check out a video for that below.

Nicki Minaj - Beez in The Trap

She's back! I feel like I don't even need to say much more. Just listen to this song that's going to be on Nicki's sophomore album. It features 2 Chainz, and it goes in. I really cannot wait for her album to drop. If I don't get a copy sent to me I'm going to buy it on the first day.

Chris Rene - Young Homie

X Factor finalist Chris Rene released the video for his first single and I bet you'll never guess what song it is! Oh wait, it's the only song he knows. Check out Chris Rene's video for "Young Homie." Personally, I think the song has a good message but I'm just tired of hearing it. The video is simple. I hope that this is just something they put out, to get something out to the public right away. If Chris doesn't release some new original material I can see him fading away very soon. Are you a fan of Chris Rene and his song "Young Homie?"

Monique Benabou Interview

A few weeks ago I posted about The Voice and mentioned that Monique Benabou and Chris Mann were incredible. The two performed "The Power of Love" in the battle round and left Christina Aguilera with one of the hardest decisions of the competition. Christina chose to keep Chris, but I knew that I just had to speak with Monique Benabou! I got in touch with her through Twitter and set up an interview. Here's what went down!

First, please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself.
“Well, Im a 24 year old SF Bay Area  Native, from a little island called Alameda. LA resident for the last 4 years.”

How long have you been singing? When did you decide to pursue it is a career?
“I have been singing since i was 3 years old. I decided i was going to seriously pursue it as a career when i was 17 years old.”

When did you find out about The Voice auditions? Did you choose to audition yourself, or did someone have to give you a little push?
“I found out about the Voice Auditions toward the end of the 2nd season! My cousin called me frantically saying " You have to register online RIGHT now" Lol so I auditioned a few months later on August 31.”

Tell us about your experience on The Voice. What was it like working with Christina Aguilera?
“My experience was incredible, something that has truly changed me forever and helped me to grown more confident as a performer and artist. It was pretty surreal working with Christina. So many time i found my wanting to poke her lol and see if she was indeed real and in front of me talking to me hah. I treasure the time and advice I received from my Coach.”

I thought your performance with Chris Mann was incredible! You really blew me away with your voice. What were you feeling during that performance, and would you do anything different if you had the chance to do so?
“Thank you very much, i appreciate it! During the performance I was so nervous and just trying to focus on doing my thing and just staying true to the moment and telling the story the best i could. I dont know if there is anything i would do differently if i could go back. I mean under those kind of circumstances  i think I did rather well and was proud of my performance. I gave it my all.”

Are you currently working on any projects you can tell us about? When can we expect some new music?
“I am currently working on a full length album, to be released in July. It is going to be AWESOME! you are gonna hear some sounds that have never been sampled on records before which is a cool feeling! Its really indigenous and tribal and a real complete portrait of myself as a person and artist.”

Has your daily life changed at all since being on The Voice? Do people recognize you out in public?
“Ha! A little, but not much. i do get recognized around from time to time, Especially when im rockin my red lips that day lol”

If you could work with any recording artist who would you pick and why?
“I would love to work with Prince, Joss Stone, Lauryn Hill, my coach Christina, Gotye, The Rival Sons, Maisyahu, Wyclef, Ryan Tedder, Finoa Apple and Robin Thicke. I know i cant just pick one! lol and so many more.”

Who would you like to see win this season of The Voice?
“I would like to see Jamar win this seasons 100%”

That was the last question. I want to thank you for taking the time to speak with Jay Swag Entertainment News. Do you have any last thoughts or comments?
“YOU ARE SO WELCOME! Thank You!”

Justin Bieber's New Single Cover

Justin Bieber needs help picking the cover for his new single "Boyfriend." The pop superstar released these two images as possible covers, and asked his fans to help choose their favorite. The song was written by Mike Posner, and apparently has a hip-hop feel to it.

As of now, it looks like the first picture is going to be the winning cover. So, let me know; which cover do you want to see as the cover of "Boyfriend" or, does it not matter to you either way!

American Idol Recap: Joshua Ledet Shines

It's time to recap American Idol! Last night the contestants had to sing a song from the year in which they were born. Personally, I felt like most of the performances were just average. Of course, there is always that one stand out performance of the night, and this week that performance came from Joshua Ledet! Joshua sang "When a Man Loves a Woman," and absolutely killed it! His voice is amazing, and reminiscing of the old school soul singers. From the beginning of the performance, everything was perfect. The judges (who were way too harsh on every contestant) actually loved Joshua. This was one of the only times I agreed with the judges last night.

Aside from Josh, the other stand out performances of the night belonged to Colton, Hollie, Jessica, and Phillip. They could get rid of all of the other contestants and I honestly wouldn't care. At this point in the competition I would like to see the final two being Joshua Ledet and Jessica Sanchez. Who are your favorites thus far? I also would love to hear what you thought about the judges last night! I thought they were really off and that their comments almost made no sense. Be sure to tune into American Idol tonight to see if your favorite performer made it through!

Jermaine Jones Dismissed from Idol

American Idol contestant Jermaine Jones has reportedly been kicked off the show! Reports have broken that Jones has been lying during his time on the show, and that his criminal background has finally been revealed. Apparently, he has been lying to Idol producers and saying that his background is 100% clean.

According to sources, this is extremely inaccurate! In fact, Jermaine Jones supposedly had multiple incidents with law enforcement. One incident in particular took place on March 5 2011, where Jones was engaged in a fight at a hotel in NJ. When cops arrived, he gave them a fake name (Joel Jones). He was charged with public nuisance and obstruction of justice. He was also arrested for having outstanding warrants.

It was originally thought that Jermaine Jones would be announcing his own departure on Idol tonight, but he has been spotted in Philadelphia earlier today, so now there is no confirmation on that. There has also been no word on whether or not Idol will choose to bring back another contestant to replace Jermaine. Be sure to tune into American Idol tonight on FOX to see everything go down!

KDrew Interview

2012 has just begun, but NJ based artist KDrew is already off to a great start. His music has caught the attention of media outlets such as FOX News, AOL, and MTV, and the feedback has been nothing but positive. Having  amassed 110,000 Facebook fans and over 30,000 Twitter followers, KDrew is an artist that is here to stay. He was kind enough to speak with us for a short interview!

First, can you please introduce yourself to the Jay Swag audience?
“What's up everybody? My name is KDrew.”

What got you into dubstep?
“Well I was hearing a lot about it from my producer friends and then when I put my ear to it a few years back it just blew my mind. I felt like music was kind of at a stand still but once I heard that bass I needed to feel and make that excitement.”

Listening to one of your songs, you have a very unique sound, where did it come from?
“Thank you very much. I think my sound comes from not trying to have a sound. I just let my creativity take over and whatever happens after that just happens. I feel like if you go for a certain sound then your putting a limitation on yourself. Music is supposed to be free and pure.”

Who inspired you to be the artist you are today?
“Well growing up I listened to all types of music because my father had a Dj company and was also in a few bands. So everyone from Soundgarden, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Skrillex, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and on... Have inspired me to be the artist I am today.”

Tell us a little bit about your new remix, "Somebody That I Used to Know."
“Its a remix that I did the single of a super talented artist named Gotye. One of my roommates showed me the record and I just fell in love with it. I spoke about remixing it once or twice. And one day when I was sound designing, I created this bass that kind of pushed me into making the remix. I sat at my labtop and just banged it out. It was definitely one of the more fun records I've done in a while.”

You were chosen as a DJ for the first annual Dubstep Music Awards, how does that feel?
It was really an honor. You go from just enjoying the music and having fun with it, to djing the award show. It was nice to actually feel apart of the genre and I hope after that day, the dubstep community sees me even more as a presence.

People seem to be in love with you, 110,000 facebook fans and 30,000+ followers on twitter, why do you think people go crazy over you?
“Honestly I think that's something I'll never know lol. I guess it's because I just be myself and have fun with what I do. I'm always trying to put positive energy out in the world so maybe people are attracted to that.”

Do you have any appearances that are coming up for you?
“Yep I'm actually doing a few shows locally and a couple out of state in the next couple months. But I love doing shows so I have no problem filling that schedule up!”

Thank you for taking the time to speak with us! Do you have any last thoughts or comments? “Thank you for taking the time as well. If you guys wanna get the latest updates and some free music from me check out KDrewMusic.com I hope to see you there. Thank you!”

Taylor Swift Named Top Money Making Artist

This actually surprised me! Country superstar Taylor Swift was named music's biggest moneymaker last year according to Billboard's most recent list. Taylor Swift topped artists such as U2, Adele, and even Lady Gaga! How much did she make last year? Sources are saying she made somewhere near $35.7 million! Close to $30 million of that came from her Speak Now tour which grossed $88.5 million just in the U.S. The rest of the money came from her album sales and royalties for every song on the album, which she penned all by herself.

I knew Taylor Swift was extremely popular, but I had no idea she was making this much money. I wonder how much money she'll be making in 2012!

Kris Humphries Seeking 7$ Million

Shouldn't he be playing basketball... Sources are saying that Kris Humphries is seeking a total of $7 million from his former wife, Kim Kardashian, in exchange for his silence. Basically, he is saying that if Kim doesn't pay up, he will do his best to "expose" Kim as a liar who just used him for a public marriage and a TV special. Don't worry Kim, Kris Humphries must not have read over his paperwork.  There are a few things that will prohibit him from doing this.

First, there's the pre-nuptial agreement that Kris signed, which says he receives nothing, and I believe $7 million is considered "something."Secondly, it is reported that he personally received at least one million dollars from the wedding special. Lastly, he easily made over six figures for appearing on any Kardashian reality series. Basically, Kris is spewing out a bunch of nonsense. Here's a bit of advice Kris, focus on basketball and your own career. You can't freeload off of Kim anymore!

Jessica Sanchez Delivers Flawless Performance

My favorite contestant on American Idol, Jessica Sanchez, delivered an incredible performance of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," last night on the show. I've been a big supporter of Jess since I was in 8th grade and it's so nice to see that she's finally getting the credit that she deserves. If she gets sent home anytime soon I honestly won't watch the show anymore. Check out her amazing performance below, which prompted a standing ovation from the judges!

Meet the Artist - Quigley

If you haven't heard "inkblot game," or the Duet with her fiance VDI called "notice me," you are missing out. This rising artist was nice enough to talk to us about music, her inspiration, and the near future! There was a little confusion, her real name is Casey Carlson. You may recognize that from American Idol! But she's changing her name to Quigley, it's her great-grandparents surname that she adopted as her own:

You are obviously talented in many fields, you wrote and came up with the video for inkblot game, what inspired you?
"The idea for Inkblot Game came from a piece of art work that my sister made...

I loved how clever the concept was so I decided to write a song about it. When you loose someone you love, they end up being all around you. Everything reminds you of them and they are all you see in every scenario. Paired with a Rorschach test, this is such a powerful message. Mostly, my art is inspired from life's simple beauties and how we, as humans, are all interconnected through our actions and our energy. In addressing my multi-faced set of media skills... well lets just say with technology the way it is today, anyone who is truly passionate about creating can learn any software they want. Its all online! Anyone can "DIY"! If you want to make music, you can teach yourself Logic. If you want to learn to make movies, download Final Cut and start messing around! Its in your hands."

I also really dig your style, where are some of your favorite places to shop?
"Favorite places to shop: I have recently decided to buy all of my clothing at the Flea Market that is next to the Grove in West Hollywood every Sunday. Seriously, if you live in LA goooooooo. Its kind of heavenly and orgasmic."

What are your top 3 favorite songs at the moment?
"My favorite songs right now... 1. I'm obsessed with Gotye "Somebody that I used to know" 2. I always love what my fiancee is coming up w/so VDI "So You're Alive" the Digiraatii remix (http://soundcloud.com/digiraatii/vincent-did-it-formerly) and then the last one would be Titanium by Sia and Dave Guetta."

I'm loving Gotye, and the song with Vince. I’m also really loving Inkblot Game! Are you working on any more music?
"My first EP "Pleiades" comes out next month on KILLPOP Records and will feature Inkblot Game and two other tracks, plus perhaps a remix!"

What can we expect to see in the near future? Aside from your music career, are you working on any special projects right now?
"Im working on finishing the EP and once that wraps we start on the Album! When I say we I mean Vincent Frank, the producer, and I."

Well I hope we keep hearing more about you (And VDI!)in the future.I want to thank you for taking the time to do the interview once again. Do you have any last thoughts or comments for our readers?
"Yes, please follw me on Twitter @QuigleyOfficial and check out my BLOG http://quigleyofficial.tumblr.com/

The Voice Begins The Battle Rounds

I just got done catching up with The Voice so I felt the need to write a round up post. I thought the performances were decent, but two of them definitely stood out in my mind.

The first stand out performance definitely belonged to Chris Mann and Monique Benabou. The two sang "The Power of Love" and slayed the song. I was very impressed by both vocalists, and at the end of the performance I had no idea who I would go with. Before the performance started, I was convinced that Chris Mann should be sent home just because he wouldn't be marketable, but he actually blew me away. Monique also proved that she had an amazing voice that would sell tons of records. Christina eventually chose Chris as her contestant, but I'm sure we will be hearing more from Monique in the near future.

My second, and last, favorite performance of the night had to go to Anthony Evans and Jesse Campbell, who belted out an amazing performance of Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You." From the start I was against both of them, just because I loved the song and I hate when other artists try to sing it. Then, I heard them both sing and again realized that we were hearing something special. Both of these singers had both a great tone and large range. If I were Christina I probably would not have been able to make the decision. Her final choice was Jesse Campbell.

The other performances were just okay. None of them stood out in my mind, and I honestly couldn't tell you who sang, and what song they performed. At this rate, I'd be tremendously surprised if Christina Aguilera's team does not win The Voice this year.

New Aaliyah Material On The Way?

One can only hope! If this news is true than I am so excited. Jeffrey "J Dub." Walker, the producer who co-wrote two of Aaliyah's songs, "I Refuse" and "What If," recently tweeted that one of the songs he worked in with Aaliyah will be released on an upcoming album.

He says; "Just got great news today; the smash unreleased song called 'Steady Ground' I produced on Aaliyah is going to be on her upcoming album."

Does this mean that we can expect a full album of unreleased Aaliyah songs? I really hope so! Aaliyah had such a beautiful voice and I tend to listen to a lot of her songs. I would love to hear some music from her that we haven't been able to hear as of now. I just hope that the album is done very carefully. I'm always wary of posthumous albums, but I definitely expect great things. I'll keep you guys posted if I receive anymore information.

YouTube Artist of the Month - Nike Jemiyo

Surprise! I know it's been a few months since I've featured a YouTube artist, and many of you have been asking when I would bring back the YouTube Artist of the Month feature. I want to say that I was not ignoring you all, but I was having such a hard time finding a great artist to feature. I am so glad that I was finally able to find one. Her name is Nike Jemiyo, and she may just be one of my favorite singers I've seen on YouTube in quite sometime.

Check out her cover of Adele's "Someone Like You" above. Now, if you know anything about me, you know that I absolutely hate when people cover Adele, so for me to feature her based on this song is something special in and of itself. I absolutely love her tone! She has a beautiful voice and for once, I actually enjoyed a different version to Adele's smash hit. I love how she interpreted the song as well. I'm definitely going to try and set up an interview with her to run alongside this feature. Until then, be sure to subscribe to her channel!

Pink Friday Roman Reloaded Album Cover

Check out the cover of Nicki Minaj's new album "Pink Friday - Roman Reloaded." The cover features Nicki Minaj with a blonde wig and colorful makeup, along with a background splattered with paint. Minaj recently spoke out about the album, which will be released on April 3rd.

In regards to her most recent single "Roman Reloaded" which featured Lil Wayne, Nicki said, "That's just a preview of what's to come on the album. I know what people need right now... April 3 is gonna be a doozy. It's gonna be crazy. It's gonna be important for just hip-hop culture and pop culture. It's gonna be very big."

I really hope this means that Nicki will be returning to rap! I don't mind a few pop songs on the album, but I would love to hear more rap tracks. I'm very interested in seeing what Nicki comes up with, so I'll be sure to get a copy of Roman Reloaded once it's released. Will you be buying?
