Kourtney Kardashian's Pregnant Again!

Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick are expecting their second child together! News broke on Wednesday, when the couple announced the pregnancy on the cover of Us Weekly. Scott Disick said that they "weren't trying," and that it just happened.  Kourtney goes on to tell the magazine that she's nine weeks pregnant and felt comfortable enough to tell the public. There's still no word on whether or not the two will be getting married but after Kim's 72 day marriage I'd be surprised if a ceremony was held anytime soon. My advice to the Kardashian family from now on would be not to televise your wedding. Anyway, congratulations to Kourtney and Scott on their second child, and I wish them all the best!

Florence and the Machine Covers Drake

Florence and the Machine recently covered a Drake hit and did an amazing job with it! Florence did a great job covering Drake and Rihanna's "Take Care," and I personally prefer this version as opposed to the original. I'm sure many people won't agree with me, but I love Florence's voice. I think she is extremely talented and this soulful rendition just proves that. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Drake and Rihanna fan so I mean them no disrespect, but Florence just did great here. The performance took place at the groups BBCR1's Live Lounge performance. Let me know what you think of Florence's performance. Also, if anyone from Florence's camp is reading this, I'd love to interview her so feel free to email me!

Kourtney and Kim Take New York

It's almost that time again! The Kardashians will be taking over the TV again as Kourtney and Kim Take New York will air it's second season tonight at 10pm ET/PT on E!There has been a lot of drama surrounding the family ever since Kim divorced Kris and I'm interested to see if people actually follow through with their "Kardashian Boycott." Whether you like this family or not there is no denying that they are global super stars. Personally, I will be watching not only because I like the Kardashians, but because I want to see what they do with Kris Humphries. I'm sure he will be in the season, but a part of me believes that they will edit the footage to turn him into the bad guy. It may be wrong but that's exactly what this family needs right now. If they can convert the negativity against Kim, to negativity against Kris than everything will go back to how it was. Anyway, let me know if you will be watching the Kardashians tonight. I may be tweeting during it so follow me @OfficialJaySwag.

Black Friday 2011

Technically it's still Black Friday, but by now the major rush is over. I went to a local mall at 11pm and was there until 3am. I've been going Black Friday shopping for a few years now and usually the sales don't impress me. This year I was actually impressed with the savings that I found though. I got a nice gift for my mom and saved a great deal of money. I went with my cousin Stephanie and her boyfriend Daniel and they both were able to find great deals as well. After a long day of shopping the best thing to do is go home and go to sleep, which I did! Tell me about your Black Friday shopping experiences. Where did you go? Did you get what you wanted? Share your shopping experiences below!

Keri Hilson Disses Beyonce...Again

First, I would like to say that I try my best to stay out of the celebrity gossip side of this industry, and post my opinion based on hardcore facts. That being said, this post is probably considered 'gossip' but I really needed to discuss it, and ask you all your opinion. Think back to a few years ago when Keri Hilson released the "Turning Me On" remix, which clearly included disses towards superstar Beyonce. Keri denied this but I don't believe her, and now this video above proves that the song was definitely about the Queen Bey. Juicy Magazine was asking various celebrities to promote their magazine by simply posing with the latest issue, which featured Beyonce and Jay Z on the cover. All of the artists agreed to do so...except for Keri. She says "Who's this...No, I can't do that I'm sorry." First off, unless you live under a rock that you know exactly who was on the cover. It's not easy to mix up Jay Z and Beyonce. A song is one thing, but this was supposed to be for the magazine, not Beyonce. I think it's very unprofessional and it definitely gives off bad publicity! What do you think of this situation?  Was Keri right to stick by her views, or should she have swallowed her pride and supported the magazine? Leave a comment below defending your opinion.

Nicki Minaj Announces New Album

The Young Money rap princess Nicki Minaj, has announced her next album and it's release date. Last night, on the anniversary of Pink Friday, Minaj tweeted that Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded will drop in stores on Valentines day! I'll definitely be one of the first in line to get a copy. There is no word on whether or not this will be a reissue of Pink Friday, or a completely new album as Nicki has been hinting at different possibilities. At a backstage concert she stated that there would be no features on the album. There are also rumors that she'll be releasing a new single before 2012. Whatever the future has planned for Nicki Minaj I'm sure it will be huge. I can't wait to hear her new material.

French Macarons

I have seen these things all over the Internet for the longest time! I finally found out what they were and I decided that I had to try them. I went online to find out where I could order my very first French Macarons from and quickly realized that the best places seemed to be in New York City. I quickly came across the Macaron Cafe (http://www.macaroncafe.com) and decided to place an order. I got six different flavors; Vanilla, Chocolate Coconut, Almond, Pistachio, Lemon, and Raspberry. First, can I just say that I ordered these on Saturday and they came today. That is incredible! The service was so fast, and the packaging was so nice as well. So far I've just tried the Vanilla flavor, but the taste was amazing! It was so rich, and the texture was great. I'm definitely a fan of these and I can see myself ordering them in the future! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to try something different. The Macaron Cafe in NYC also ships nationwide so feel free to check them out and order you and your families a nice treat!

2011 American Music Award Fashion

I don't know what it is at music award shows, but I get really picky with all of the artists. Its almost like no one ever knows what to wear so you see a huge range of good and bad... mostly bad.

First off, Chris Brown sang his heart out, it was great... But what was he wearing? He looked so basic.

Christina Aguliera's Stylist forgot to give her spanx.

Side note, No shave November is affecting the Beibs, he has a 'stache?

However, Him and Selena looked great:

And Katy Perry decided to dress like Jigglypuff? WHY! It was horrendous.

I love Ellie Goulding. She's possibly my fave of the night.

AND Jennifer Hudson is looking great!

The only real theme in dresses from the night was metallic and sparkles. I didn't show Taylor Swift because shes worn that simple glittery dress like 23049823948 times already. And I am also tired of her pretending to be surprised when she wins an award. J.Lo also wore a Britney/Cher-esque outfit, while recreating her fiat commercial. I have to give her props though, she looks good!

2011 American Music Awards

What can I say about the American Music Awards. Usually I don't find myself watching an award show the whole way through unless it's the Grammy's or some other high profile event. Other than that, I will record the show and fast forward to the performances on the following day. However, I actually watched most of the American Music Awards. The bad news is that it wasn't necessarily for the show itself, but it was due to Twitter! I love tweeting and reading your responses to what's going on. My favorite performance was probably Chris Brown. When he's not trying to fly around...literally...he's actually a good performer. I thought he sang well and I didn't mind the dancing bit at the end.

Now, this is going to be hard for me to admit because you all know how much I love Nicki Minaj, but it must be said. Nicki...I have been a fan since day one. I've listened since the Come Up. I love "Itty Bitty Piggy," "I Get Crazy," and a bunch of your other older songs. I feel like we're almost losing you. Does anyone else feel like that? Don't get me wrong, it's still all love for Nicki, but I just wish she would do some more music for her day one fans. I understand that in order to stay relevant she has to do pop music, but I felt like last night's performance was almost from a different artist.

I loved Katy Perry's performance! I think the song is great and she actually sounded really nice. I thought the acoustic version was also a nice touch. My only problem was this; If you're going to perform a serious song and make it really touching...please look like a human. Why did she feel the need to look like Judy Jetson mixed with Jigglypuff.

Justin...what are you wearing? I've come a long way from my earlier days when I used to bash Justin Bieber for every single thing he did. I actually don't mind him or his music anymore, but last night was just terrible. He sounded flat for most of his performance and it was just awkward to me. I also want to know why every artist feels the need to dress like they're from out of space when they perform. It's not cool on everybody...actually it's only cool on Gaga.

Oh yeah. Adam Levine sang...or at least tried to. He's usually such a good singer so I'd really love to know why he was so bad last night.

That's really my round up guys! Everything was either irrelevant or just didn't interest me. Again, thanks for tweeting along with me last night, and for putting up with me as I ranted! I can't wait to attend one of these shows some day. I feel like I'll be tweeting the whole night.

Astro Apologizes

I was a little disappointed when I found out that Stacy Francis was in the bottom two last week, but I was relieved when I found out Astro was her competition. Since day one I have not liked Astro. I felt that he was way too cocky and to be completely honest, I didn't think he was that talented. In my mind there was no way that Stacy would be going home...I was wrong. As much as I liked Stacy though, I knew there was no way she could win, so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. Then, I watched what actually happen. I was disgusted with Astro's attitude! He acted like such a child(I know that he is a kid, but if you want to pretend that you're the best you better act like it too). He should have been kicked off the show just for being immature. Anyway, he took to Facebook on Friday to apologize. Below is his statement.

I'm sorry I wasted your time posting that "speech" but I didn't feel like typing it out. He said that he felt that he was being "mistreated." I would really love to know how, and who was mistreating him? Just because America put you in the bottom two doesn't mean everyone is out to get you, it means that you sucked the night before. It's that simple. This kid frustrates me and I really do not like him! I'm hoping he gets off the show soon.

Happy Birthday Stephanie / Breaking Dawn Experience

So, this post has two purposes. First, I want to wish my cousin Stephanie a Happy Birthday. Yes, her birthday was technically yesterday but I never got around to doing an official post for her. She turned 22! Above is a picture of my cousins and I at her party(Stephanie is on the left and Karelie is on the right). I had a great time and I'm so glad that I got to see her again. She's been away at college so we don't get to see each other as often as we used to. Anyway, you should definitely follow her on Twitter @ModelStella and like her Facebook fan page by clicking HERE. Below is a picture of Stephanie and her boyfriend Daniel.

The second purpose of this post is to talk about Breaking Dawn. I went to see the movie today with Karelie, Stephanie and Daniel. Overall I enjoyed the movie and I thought it was entertaining. I've been a fan of the Twilight saga since the first one came out and in my opinion they have just gotten better. I always see so much negative criticism regarding the series and personally I don't think it's necessary. Of course, Twilight is by no means a ground breaking movie like Avatar, but that isn't the purpose of a movie like Twilight. It's purpose is to entertain it's fans and give them what they want. If you are fan of the series then I think you will like Breaking Dawn. My only criticism is that the cliff hanger ending was almost too much of a cliff hanger.

Breaking Dawn Not Breaking Records

Breaking Dawn may be one of the most anticipated films of the year, but that didn't enable it to break any box office records. The fourth installment of the Twilight Saga took in about $30.3 million during it's midnight premier. The last Harry Potter film took in $43.5 million at it's midnight showing. Many are saying that perhaps the Twilight Saga has reached it's peak, while others are expecting the final film in the series to do just as well, if not better, than Harry Potter. Breaking Dawn's three day gross is expected to be between $143 million-$150 million, which would rank it as the fourth biggest opener ever. All in all the film has been receiving excellent reviews and I will definitely be checking it out soon. I'm not sure, but I may do a quick post about the film after I watch it. If you saw Breaking Dawn already please leave your comments and let me know what you thought of it!

X Factor: Who's My Favorite?

We all know that last night was X Factor night. If you follow my Twitter then you already know that I am literally obsessed with that show. I Tweet for almost every act and respond to everyone who is tweeting me about the show as well. It's no surprise that my favorite act is Melanie Amaro. I have supported her since day one and last night was no different. Her performance of "Everybody Hurts" by REM was simply amazing. Her tone is so pure and she now has so much more control over her voice compared to her earlier performances. I will admit that Josh Krajcik's performance was more of a rock performance, but then again, his tone naturally works with rock music. Personally I don't like the "theme" week idea. Not every singer is able to sing every genre, and no singer would sing every genre on their own album. Regardless, my favorite acts of the night were Melanie, Josh, Drew, and Marcus. Be sure to watch the result show live tonight to see if your favorite act makes it through!

Chiddy Bang to Release Full Length Album

Hip-Hop duo Chiddy Bang is preparing to release their full length debut album "Breakfast" in the US on February 28th. The two will be releasing their album through Virgin Records. Spin Magazine calls the album "one of the most anticipated debuts." Chiddy Bang was put on the map with their breakthrough hit "Opposite of Adults." The group spent the past two years perfecting their sound and writing material for their upcoming release. Their single "Ray Charles" will hit radio stations on January 9th, but it is commercially available today! It has been described as "a soulful but fun track with a playful party vibe, featuring a Gospel choir, bluesy piano and a smattering of drum breaks. Be sure to check that out by clicking HERE.

Rihanna ft Jay Z - Talk That Talk

I've been hearing so much about Rihanna's new album but I haven't really listened to anything yet. Today I got an email about a Rihanna and Jay Z song called "Talk That Talk." I was a big fan of them when they worked together on Run This Town so I decided to give this a listen. I actually like the song and it reminds me of Rihanna in her earlier days. Her and Jay Z work so well together and I think that her album will be a huge success. In addition to this, another song titled "Where Have You Been" just surfaced. I didn't listen to that yet but it's produced by Calvin Harris, the man behind "We Found Love," so I'm sure it's pretty good. All in all I'm interested in listening to Rihanna's new album as a whole, and see how she has evolved from her last studio album.

Katy Perry Releases New Music Video

Katy Perry appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today to premiere her brand new music video for "The One That Got Away." The video portrays an aged Katy reminiscing about a relationship with an artist played by Diego Luna. The younger Katy is also sporting a much more serious look as opposed to her usual pink hair. As the flashback continues you see that the two got into an argument and Diego drives off, only to lose control of the vehicle and swerves off a cliff. Although the video is more depressing than Katy Perry's past videos I actually really like it. The song and video go so well together and I think it shows a different dynamic of Perry.

Katy Perry has also announced that she will be adding a second show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles that will take place on November 23rd. She says that this show is a "thank you" to her fans and so the show will be free! It will wrap up the pop star's sold out 122-date California Dreams World Tour. If you live in the area and would like to find out more information regarding this event go to www.facebook.com/katyperry before November 14th!

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Another year, another $12 million annual fashion show from Victoria's Secret.
The show was filmed on Wednesday night, but will air on NOVEMBER 29, so MARK YOUR CALENDARS! There were performances from Maroon 5 (of course, he's dating a VS model), Kanye West and Jay-z, AND Nicki Minaj! I can't wait until the 29th to see the show!

Drew's X Factor Performance

Last night on X Factor Drew performed "Fix You" by Coldplay. Although I'm not a big fan of Coldplay I've grown to love the song after seeing a few different artists cover it. Drew was simply amazing. For someone to sing with such a great tone at her age is just incredible to me. This was also, in my opinion, a great song choice for Drew. I'd love to hear her sing "Angel" by Sara McLachlan. It was so hard for me to pick one artist so promote this week because they were all so good. It's easier for me to name my least favorites; Astro, Stereo Hogzz, and Stacy Francis. I hate to put Stacy Francis on that list but in relation to last night's performances she didn't do that well. Who were your favorites?

Conrad Murray Documentary

Just days after Doctor Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter MSNBC will be airing a documentary on the doctor. The special, which is titled "Michael Jackson and the Doctor," will tell the story of Dr. Murray and include scenes in which he insists that Michael Jackson begged for the medicine that caused his death. Personally, I feel like this is a terrible idea. He was just convicted of the crime, and to air a documentary about him will just give people the wrong idea. Also, there is talk that he may be getting paid a decent amount of money to have the footage aired. Jermaine Jackson already tweeted that it was "shameless" and "sickens" him, but he opted to ignore it. La Toya Jackson tweeted that she was seeking legal action to prevent the special from ever hitting the airwaves. What is your opinion on the documentary?

Adele To Make A Full Recovery

I have been obsessing over Adele lately. I think she is extremely talented and she has become one of my favorite current female vocalists. When I heard she was undergoing throat surgery I was legitimately concerned and hoped that she would be able to make a full recovery. Today we are getting word that the surgery was a success and that Adele is expected to recover just fine. One of her reps released the following statement:

"Adele underwent vocal cord microsurgery by Dr. Steven Zeitels to stop recurrent vocal cord hemorrhage from a benign polyp. This condition is typically the result of unstable blood vessels in the vocal cord that can rupture. Based on the advice of her doctor and voice therapist in the United Kingdom, Adele came to Boston to consult and undergo corrective voice surgery with Dr. Zeitels, the Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Voice Center. Dr. Zeitels expects Adele to make a full recovery from her laser microsurgery."

I'm glad to hear that Adele will be recovering and I hope that she will be able to sing just as great as she did prior to the surgery. I can't wait to hear some new music from her, but until then let's pray that everything goes well and that Adele makes a speedy recovery!

YouTube Artist of the Month - Alyssa Shouse

I know that I didn't post a YouTube Artist of the Month last month but I really didn't have time to find one that I really liked. I think I'm going to start featuring these artists once every two months, instead of every month. That being said this month it's my pleasure to feature Alyssa Shouse. This girl is simply amazing. I found her after watching one of Austin Mahone's videos so I decided to go to her channel. What a great decision that was! Her voice is actually really good. Above is her cover of "When I Look At You" originally by Miley Cyrus. She effortlessly belts out a great rendition of Miley's song, and in my opinion sings it better than Miley herself. All of her covers are so good and you should definitely subscribe to her YouTube channel!

Justin Bieber VS Mariah Yeater: The Plot Thickens

I told you that I would be following this story very closely, and so I am. The story is definitely getting deeper and more interesting. The latest news came today when Mariah Yeater's ex-boyfriend, John Terranova, spoke out saying that he was contacted by Yeater because she thought he might have been the baby's father. He says,

"She came back here from California telling me she was pregnant with my child and I said this is impossible, you've been in California for two months and back here for only a week. After I told her that's not my kid, you've only been here for a week, then she told me 'No, I got pregnant before I left you.' But that didn't make sense because she had a doctor's note saying she wasn't pregnant enough for that to be possible. It didn't add up."

He goes on to say that he believes the whole situation is a scam and that she is just looking for money. What's even more interesting about this is that her lawyers went on a news program stating that they were "certain" that Justin Bieber was the father because he was the only person she was sexually active with... That being the case, why did she go to John Terranova first. The whole thing seems fishy to me and I feel that she's just a liar. I do have a question for you guys though. If this does turn out to be Justin Bieber's baby, will you be able to accept that and continue to support him, or is his career going to be over? Let me know what your opinion is!

Melanie Amaro Performs Desperado

Melanie Amaro is seriously amazing. She's one of, if not the most, talented performers on The X Factor. Above is her performance of "Desperado" from last night. If you ask me, she has grown so much in the short amount of time that she's been on the show. She seems to have much more control over her voice now, and her tone is extremely pure. This was definitely my favorite performance of the night. I also liked Stacy Francis and Josh Krajcik. I've been a big fan of Drew as well, but I really think that Simon ruined her chances with the song he gave her. She should be singing songs by Adele, Amy Winehouse, and artists of that sort, not "Just A Dream" by Nelly. Anyway, be sure to tune in to The X Factor tonight to see who makes it through to the next round!

Bieber's Camp Denies Paternity Rumors

I was waiting all day to blog about this, so I'll start from the beginning just in case you guys missed what's going on. A 20-Year-Old California women is claiming that at one of Justin Bieber's shows, the two had sexual intercourse backstage, and she now believes that Justin is the father of her child. The women says,

"Immediately it was obvious that we were mutually attracted to one another, and we began to kiss. Shortly thereafter, Justin Bieber suggested that I go with him to a private place where we could be alone. I agreed to go with him and on the walk to a private area, he told me he wanted to make love to me and this was going to be his first time."

Of course Justin Bieber's team already responded to the rumor by saying that it is completely false. His publicist released a statement saying that they have not yet seen the lawsuit and stated that they believed the claims were malicious and in an attempt to ruining the popstar's image. Personally, I feel that this has to be completely false. Not everyone may not be a fan of Justin, but there is no denying the fact that he understands how to represent himself, otherwise he would not be the star that he is today. I would like to believe that he has enough sense not to ruin his image by doing something so stupid. I wonder what Selena has to say about this. I'll be following this story for you guys!

Untitled Jersey City Project

This post brought to you by Untitled Jersey City Project. All opinions are 100% mine.

UNT_091311_Title_bmb_v01.ai (1 page)

It's no surprise that I'm a huge reality TV buff but when a good show comes along I definitely have to get it a watch. That's what happened when I heard about the Untitled Jersey City Project Untitled Jersey City Project is a work-in-progress television drama by FX Networks. The show is made up of eight, two minute long episodes that aired on FX. I watched the preview video, and then had to look up more information because I found it to be extremely interesting. The story line is great, and although the actors are new, they are great at what they do. There are just enough cliff hangers to keep you watching, and enough action to keep you interested. I would definitely recommend checking out the preview and watching the rest of the series. I would love for this to turn into something more, and I believe that if it does it would be a huge hit on primetime television.   According to FX Untitled Jersey City Project is;

"...set amidst the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront, just across the river from Manhattan. A shining new city is being built on the edge of this gritty town. But while the glass office towers and condos are sleek and new, the rules of the game haven’t changed one bit.

Everyone here has something to gain – money, fame, power. Or they can lose big. Or they could end up dead."

Be sure to check out the sneak peak video below, and be sure to share your comments. The show has definitely got huge potential and I would like to see what becomes of it in the near future. Leave me a comment below and let me know what you think of the show. Would you watch?

New Amy Winehouse Album

Amy Winehouse's label will be releasing her posthumous album on December 5th. The album is titled "Lioness: Hidden Treasures," and will be comprised of 12 unheard songs, including a feature with rapper Nas. Journalist who have heard a large portion of the album have stated that every song could have been a hit. Although I am usually against post-mortem albums, I believe that this is a great idea. Many people will want to remember Amy for her music, and what better way to do so than to release a new album just in time for the Holidays. She may have lived a troubled life but her talent was undeniable. I will definitely be picking up this album and doing a quick review of it.
