You Can Have Whatever You Like

Rapper T.I. was giving the needy people of Atlanta "what ever they liked" on Thursday. T.I volunteered at the biggest Thanksgiving dinner at the Atlanta's Braves home field. He raised close to $100,000 for the event on a radio show. Rapper, Young Jeezy donated $5,000 as well. In a time of economic crisis it is nice to see those who are in no crisis helping out.

Aubrey O'Day Is Possibly Going To Have Her Own Show

Video by Hollyscoop

Aubrey O'Day was recently interviewed by Hollyscoop.com, asking if she had any plans on returning to "Making The Band". She says she may be having her own show? Watch, at the end of the video she begins to answer questions with a "possibly" and a "maybe". Perhaps she shared to much information. What do you think, will Aubrey have her own show, airing on MTV?

R.I.P Total Request Live

Last night, MTV's Total Request Live (TRL), had its final episode. The star studded event was hosted by Carson Daly and Damien Fahey. Beyonce opened the event with a performance of "If I Were a Boy", and "Single Ladies". Some other celebrities attending the finale were, Diddy, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Kid Rock, Hillary Duff, Smauel L Jackson, Christina Aguilera via Satellite, Eminem via telephone and many more. In addition to these guest appearances Fall Out Boy, 50 Cent, The Backstreet Boys, Ludacris, Nelly, and Snoop Dogg all performed. The show went through some of there favorite moments, including the time the whole show went to Diddy's office.  They also mentioned the top performances, and most iconic music videos. Hips Don't Lie by Shakira, Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson and Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stafani, were some of their favorite performances, just to name a few. The most iconic music videos are as followed:

  • Hey Ya - OutKast
  • Whats My Age Again - Blink 182
  • Yeah - Usher, Lil Jon, Ludacris
  • Crazy In Love - Beyonce
  • Badwitdaba - Kid Rock
  • Dirty - Christina Aguilera
  • Bye Bye Bye - NSYNC
  • I Want It That Way - The Backstreet Boys
  • Slim Shady - Eminem
  • Baby One More Time - Britney Spears
A great list of songs, for a great final show. Its surprising that Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time" was the most iconic video, yet she couldn't show up or even leave a pre-recorded message. Maybe she was busy? In all seriousness though, the show was a good show from beginning to end. The stars, fans, and viewers all had their own tear tear moments, as they remembered different events that were all significant to them. At the end of the show, everyone gathered on stage to give TRL one final goodbye. Carson Daly looked into the camera and asked "Why is this show ending?". I now asks myself that same question. TRL is now over, and with it that last "Music" part of "MTV (Music Television).

The tour will be only eight weeks long so be sure to attend at least one of the events because you DO NOT want to miss this. It might just be the hottest 2008 tour with the one and only, Weezy F. Baby and T-Pain. They both had great collaboration hits like 'Got Money' and 'Can't Believe It'. Also Keyshia Cole with her latest single 'Playa Cardz Rite' featuring Tupac.

History Has Been Made

On November 4th of 2008
There was no campaigning, no debate
Only elections took place on that day
Republican or Democrat? No one could say
The people went to the polls and voted one time
Obama, McCain, the names rang in their mind
The votes kept coming and results did too
Eyes glued to the tv screen, to watch the news
History was made when Obama won the race
America united and chose him, despite the color of his face
Martin Luther King Jr, went to the mountain top and saw the promise land
And on the other side he saw a strong leader, a powerful man
This man was Obama, but at the time it did seem strange
But in 2008 an African American won, Obama will bring change

I thought I would share a little poem with you that I wrote about elections last night. I hope you like it, and I understand that not all of you support Obama and that is okay. We are all entitled to our own opinions.  Either way I hope our Country can unite and see that Obama may be able to bring the change that this Country needs.

New Trio?

On Friday, November 14th, Danity Kane will be performing at the Jet Mirage night club in Las Vegas. I guess we can call them Danity Kane still, we'll just have to wait and see if they sound the same. Maybe this is the right direction for the group who knows? We'll have to wait and hear how they sound as a trio. I have to admit, after watching making the band since the forming of Danity Kane, it doesn't seem right to have them perform without Aubrey and
 D. Woods. Some Good news to come out of it is that Shannon is going to be in it so her "break" must be over and not a permanent thing. Lets just wait and find out how things go for the group. If i can find a video of them, after they perform I will try to post it so everyone can hear them. I wonder what songs they will do? Email me with your thoughts on this at Jay_Swag93@yahoo.com
